Product Details

The UV fluorescence oil analyzer is designed for portable water oil analyzers, using special oil surfactants in water to replace traditional extraction solvents, thereby achieving a new level of accuracy and reproducibility in detection results. The product includes various new features and performance that traditional water oil analyzers have never provided, while providing customers with a low-cost, safe, reliable, and simple solution for measuring oil (petroleum) in water. The significant advantage of this method is that it can eliminate the hazards to our own health and environmental safety caused by the transportation, use, and discharge of large amounts of extraction solvents in traditional water oil analysis processes. And under this reliable analysis method, it can effectively avoid measurement errors caused by personnel operations and the need for precise measurement of liquid water samples.
It uses pulsed ultraviolet fluorescence method to measure the concentration of oil molecules in water. Oil molecules are activated to an excited state under specific wavelength ultraviolet light irradiation, which is very unstable and quickly returns to the ground state; During the process of returning to the ground state, radiation fluorescence is generated, and the concentration of oil molecules in the water sample is directly proportional to the intensity of the emitted radiation fluorescence. The water sample is continuously introduced into the sampling chamber and flows evenly through a specially designed sampling plate through an overflow tank. The light source can almost illuminate all oil molecules flowing through the sampling plate; After passing through the sampling plate, the water sample flows out of the sampling chamber by its own gravity. The UV light source is installed directly above the lamp box, and the installation angle of the fluorescence sensor ensures that it can receive the fluorescence emitted by oil molecules. A filtering system is installed before both ultraviolet light emission and fluorescence sensor reception, which is used to control the emission wavelength of ultraviolet light and select a specific fluorescence wavelength for receiving oil molecules scattered back. The received fluorescence intensity corresponds to the concentration of oil in the water sample to a certain extent. After the filtering system controls the selection of emission and reception wavelengths, this linear relationship can be made longer.
Performance characteristics of UV fluorescence oil analyzer:
1. Advanced UV fluorescence oil detection technology;
2. Portable and handheld, weighing approximately 400 grams;
3. Dual channels A and B: Channel "A" is used for condensate oil and refined hydrocarbons (detectable<1ppm), while the new channel "B" is used for crude oil;
4. The measurement range has significantly increased (>1000ppm), without the need for sample dilution;
5. The dual channel design can expand the measurement range without dilution, reducing human error during dilution operations for handling high concentration water samples;
6. No solvent adsorption or evaporation steps are required for other methods (such as infrared method); Directly calibrate with petroleum standard solution or perform correlation calibration with external methods;
7. Various commonly used organic extraction solvents such as n-hexane and petroleum ether are applicable, and the UV fluorescence oil analyzer replaces the infrared extraction agent;
In most applications, there is a good correlation with laboratory weight analysis and infrared methods.
