Overview
UV visible and near-infrared spectrophotometers can be used for the detection of precision optical properties such as optical devices, polarizers, quartz plates, etc. They also use photomultiplier tubes, PbS, and InGaAs detectors as standard configurations, greatly enhancing the measurement accuracy in the near-infrared region. Traditional UV visible and near-infrared spectrophotometers use PMT (photomultiplier tube) in the UV visible region and PbS detector in the near-infrared region. However, due to the low sensitivity of both detectors near a wavelength of 1000nm, it is difficult to perform high-sensitivity measurements. The SolidSpec-3700i/3700i DUV uses InGaAs detectors with sensitivity in this conversion wavelength range, which can perform high-sensitivity measurements in the near-infrared region.
