With the continuous development of the eyewear industry, the requirements for lenses are becoming increasingly high. Reflectivity, transmittance, UV protection, hardening, anti fog, and other special parameters such as ESPF (EYE-SUN Protection FACTOR), all lens manufacturers are racking their brains to surpass other competitors in order to gain an advantage in the lens market. 1. The thickness measurement of the dura mater requires only a few seconds for all operation measurements of each piece.

2. Measurement of hardened composite layer. Some customers may add some functional layers, such as anti-fog, on top or below the hardened layer, with a thickness of several microns. We can measure the thickness of both the hardened layer and these functional layers simultaneously.

3. Reflection and transmittance testing allows us to conveniently and quickly measure the reflection and transmittance of lenses. We can set the mean and extreme values (maximum and minimum) within a certain frequency band for measurement. Compared to traditional spectrophotometers, Filmetrics' testing efficiency is tens of times higher. This is not an exaggeration, but is determined by the measurement principle. Traditional spectrophotometers scan a single wavelength, and can only scan one wavelength at a time. To achieve a certain speed, scanning accuracy must be sacrificed. Filmetrics is a signal sensor composed of a CCD array, with over 1000 pixels distributed in the 380-1050nm wavelength range. It can collect all signals at once, and the entire measurement process only takes 1-2 seconds.
