The AR101F-485/422 series converter has one serial port RS485/422 and one USB 2.0 interface.

Driver installation

When connecting the USB serial converter for the first time, the system will automatically pop up the following window, select the "Install from List or Designated Location (Advanced)" option.

Select the specified location to install the driver program

Choosing the next step will select the USB driver file and choose the FTDIBUS.INF file.

Find the specified location and select the FTDIBUS.INF file.

Once the selected file location is confirmed, the system will automatically complete the driver installation for USB Serial Converter A. As shown in the figure below

According to the end of the deviceThe system will repeatedly install the USB Serial Converter driver several times. The system will automatically pop up a window to find the new hardware USB Serial Port and install the virtual serial port driver. Select the "Install from List or Designated Location (Advanced)" option.

The next step is to enter the window for selecting the driver program route

Enter and select the FTDIPORT.INF file to confirm.

The system will complete the installation of the USB Serial Port virtual serial port driver.

The system will repeat the installation of the USB Serial Port virtual serial port driver several times based on the number of ports on the device. All port drivers have been installed. If the virtual serial port driver program has not been installed before, the default COM port numbers for the system are COM3, 4, 5, and 6 ports, as shown in the following figure. All drivers have been installed.
