Torch blasting disc
The installation position of the bursting disc safety device and the installation position of the pipeline in the system
(1) The safety device for blasting discs should be installed on the main body or auxiliary pipelines of the pressure bearing equipment, and should be easy to install, inspect, and replace.
(2) The bursting disc safety device should be installed near each pressure source of the pressure bearing device. If used for gas media, it should be installed in the gas space (including the gas phase space above the liquid) or on the pipeline connected to that space; If used for liquid media, it should be set below the normal liquid level.
(4) When the pressure is transmitted from the outside to the pressure bearing equipment and can be reliably controlled, the bursting disc safety device should be directly installed on the pressure bearing equipment or inlet pipeline.
The installation of shut-off valves on the pipeline of the bursting disc safety device:
(1) The cut-off valve should adopt a straight through structure, and its connection type and strength should be matched with the bursting disc safety device. The valve should be able to be locked or lead sealed (when fully open or fully closed).
(2) When a shut-off valve is installed between the bursting disc safety device and the pressure equipment, if the pressure equipment itself generates pressure and the shut-off valve is set for maintenance or replacement of the bursting disc safety device, the shut-off valve should remain fully open and locked or sealed under normal operating conditions. When it is necessary to close the shut-off valve and the pressure equipment is still in normal use, the management personnel should stay on site; When the management personnel leave the site, the shut-off valve should be in a fully open state and measures such as lead sealing should be taken to prevent it from closing.

Torch blasting disc
The blasting test of the bursting disc should meet the following requirements:
(1) During hydraulic blasting tests, the pressure chamber of the testing system should be filled with liquid; During the pneumatic blasting test, the testing system must pass the hydraulic test before use, and effective safety protection devices must be installed;
(2) When measuring the blasting pressure, the test blasting temperature should also be measured simultaneously;
(3) During the sampling blasting test of the anti arch blasting disc, the testing system should have sufficient volume to ensure that the blasting disc flips and ruptures.
During the sampling blasting test of the clamping load of the blasting disc, the clamping load of the blasting disc should comply with the provisions of the installation and use instructions.
The user shall determine the working temperature, working pressure, working medium, and other predictable working conditions (including pressure and temperature cycles) under the operating conditions of the bursting disc, and provide them to the manufacturing unit to facilitate the determination of the replacement cycle for the selected structural type of bursting disc. Incorrect installation, incorrect torque (in situations with switches), and mechanical damage may have a direct impact on the burst pressure of the bursting disc, thereby shortening its replacement cycle.
Explosive discs for storage tanks: Due to the large volume of storage tanks, adding explosive discs is also used to isolate safety valves. However, in order to prevent medium explosion caused by fire in the storage tank, large-sized discharge equipment needs to be installed, so an emergency discharge valve needs to be installed instead of a bursting disc. The emergency relief valve has a large size and a low set relief pressure, making it reusable.
Instructions for the use of explosive discs
(1) Blasting discs are precision safety accessories, and it is recommended that they be carefully installed by personnel familiar with the performance of blasting discs.
(2) Discharge to safe areas: Do not install explosive disc devices in areas that endanger personnel safety, consider discharging reactive forces. The installation location should be equipped with safety protection devices and a discharge channel larger than the discharge area of the bursting disc to prevent injury to personnel, equipment, or secondary pressure caused by the bursting disc.
(3) The blasting disc must be installed in the matching clamp.
(4) Please do not reinstall and use the explosive disc removed from the equipment or pipeline.
(6) The normal service life of the bursting disc device is 2-3 years. If the conditions of use are harsh (referring to strong corrosiveness of the medium, large fluctuations in working pressure, or frequent use), the service life is 6 months to 1 year.
