Tekmar blowdown capture integrates an automatic sampler and blowdown capture device, which can be used for pre-treatment of VOCs in solids or liquids. It is the most advanced equipment in this class of instruments that uses methanol for fully automatic extraction of VOCs from solid samples, in accordance with US EPA 5035 requirements.

Over forty years ago, in order to cooperate with the US Environmental Protection Agency in the analysis of trace level volatile pollutants (such as benzene), Tekmar developed the world's largest blowdown capture device. Subsequently, a series of USEPA related standards (502.1, 502.2, 524.2, 524.3, 524.4, 503.1, 601, 602, 603, 624, 5030, 5035, 8010, 8015, 8020, 8021, 8030, 8240, 8260) emerged. Nowadays, Tekmar has become synonymous with innovative and high-quality products in the field of VOC (volatile organic compound) analysis, widely used in industries such as environment, water quality, food, materials, pharmaceuticals, etc., assisting in the completion of a series of relevant domestic standards (GB/T 5750.8-2006, HJ 605/639/686/735/788).
