TEROS 54 Soil Profile Moisture Temperature SensorIt is a sensor with high measurement accuracy and easy installation, which can achieve precise measurement and avoid large-scale excavation during installation. Most profile sensors require a choice between ease of installation and disassembly, sensor accuracy, measurement volume, and durability. The TEROS 54 developed by METER can fully meet these requirements without any further trade-offs.


TEROS 54 Soil Profile Moisture Temperature SensorLocated at depths of 15, 30, 45, and 60cm, it provides measurements of the root zone without the need to dig pits or frequently search for suitable installation locations in shallower soil layers. The installation of TEROS 54 only requires a 2cm borehole, and then a sturdy four wing profile sensor is inserted into the soil, which has better contact with the soil and can achieve more accurate measurements; TEROS 54 is highly suitable for measuring annual plants, as it can be easily installed and disassembled multiple times using specialized extraction tools.


The four wing design of TEROS 54 has a larger measurement volume than typical cylindrical sensors, providing a more comprehensive understanding of soil moisture conditions.


TEROS 54 only requires one cable to connect ZL 6, plug and play, no programming or wiring required, the same number of data acquisition instruments can be connected to more sensors.
