A thicker carbon rope with a diameter of 2.5mm and a density of 1.6g/m is widely used for general applications and has a moderate film thickness.This thicker carbon rope is recommended for use on coating machines such as Quorum Technologies, SPI, Emitech, Polarin, Fisons, and Technics.

For applications that require thinner carbon films, it is recommended to use medium carbon ropes with a diameter of 1.3mm and a density of 0.7g/m,The film thickness can be increased by using multiple carbon ropes.

For the thinnest carbon film, it is recommended to use a thinner carbon rope with a diameter of 0.8mm and a density of 0.4g/m.Finer carbon ropes also exhibit better compatibility with carbon films manufactured by Fullam, Leybold, Denton, and Baltec.
