TE-5 human esophageal cancer cellsIt is a classic cell line widely used in biomedical research. This cell is derived from Japanese esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and has epithelial like growth characteristics. It proliferates in an adherent manner under in vitro culture conditions. The doubling time of TE-5 cells is about 24 hours, which is suitable for conducting various tumor biology research and drug screening experiments.

TE-5 cells have distinct biological characteristics: they originate from squamous cell carcinoma in the middle of the esophagus. These unique molecular markers and biological behaviors make them important tools for researchers to conduct research on tumor mechanisms and drug development.
During the cultivation process, the cells exhibited stable proliferation ability and good experimental reproducibility, which can meet various in vitro experimental requirements. It is recommended to use STR identification to verify cell identity and ensure the reliability of experimental data.
Culture medium configuration:RPMI-1640 + 10% FBS + 1% P/S。 The cultivation conditions are 37 ℃, 5% CO ₂, and saturated humidity. It is recommended to replace the fresh culture medium every 2-3 days, with a passage ratio of 1:2 to 1:4.
Cell revival:Quickly thaw the cryovial in a 37 ℃ water bath, centrifuge and resuspend in wan quan medium, and transfer to a culture bottle for cultivation.
Cell cryopreservation:Use a cryopreservation solution of 55% basic medium+40% FBS+5% DMSO and store in liquid nitrogen for a long time.
