Product Introduction

The suspended solids online sensor adopts infrared light scattering method, which means that the incident light enters the water and scatters on the surface of the suspended particles. The scattered light intensity is detected on the light path at a certain angle to the incident light, and the suspended solids concentration in the water is obtained by the proportional relationship between the scattered light intensity and the suspended solids concentration.

Application field

The instrument is widely used in industries such as sewage treatment plant treatment process and discharge outlet water quality monitoring, other industrial wastewater treatment processes and discharge outlet water quality monitoring, and has been unanimously recognized by a large number of users.

Measurement principle

Infrared scattering light technology refers to the scattering of suspended solids in a sample solution by a beam of light, as shown in the figure below. The infrared light source emits light at a certain angle to the detection light, and the intensity of the light received by the detector is related to the suspended solids in the measured water body. Therefore, the concentration of suspended solids in the measured water body can be calculated by measuring the intensity of the scattered light.
