The Italian GEFRAN pressure sensor is a device or apparatus that can sense pressure signals and convert them into usable output electrical signals according to certain rules. The TK series is a pressure sensor used in high-temperature applications where the process temperature may reach 538 ° C (1000 ° F), such as high-temperature engineering polymers. The K series adopts the standard melt pressure principle and structure. Strain sensing technology is adhesive foil strain gauges. Almost incompressible sodium potassium (NaK) mixture is used for pressure transfer. NaK is a FDA approved safe (GRAS) substance. Application: As for FDA approval, the K series is suitable for mercury free, food and medical applications, processing special polymers, and high-tech polymers (538 ° C/1000 ° F).

Correct installation method for GEFRAN pressure sensor in Italy:

(1) Verify the frequency response value of the pressure sensor under normal atmospheric pressure and standard temperature conditions using appropriate instruments.

(2) Verify the correctness of the coding of the pressure sensor and the corresponding frequency response signal.

2. Determine the specific installation location

In order to determine the number and specific installation location of the Italian GEFRAN pressure sensor, it is necessary to consider each inflation section of the inflation net.

(1) The pressure sensor must be installed along the cable and installed at the cable joint.

(2) Each cable should be equipped with no less than 4 pressure sensors, and the two pressure sensors near the telephone office should be no more than 200m apart.

(3) Install one at the beginning and one at the end of each cable.

(4) Each cable should have one branch point installed. If two branch points are close together (less than 100 meters), only one can be installed.

(5) One cable should be installed at the location where the cable laying method (overhead, underground) changes

(6) For cables without branches, due to the consistent cable program of the base line, the installation spacing of pressure sensors should not be more than 500m, and the total number should not be less than 4.

(7) In order to facilitate the determination of the fault point of the pressure sensor, in addition to installing the pressure sensor at the starting point, an additional one needs to be installed at a distance of 150-200m from the starting point. Of course, in the design, economic and technical factors must be considered. If the pressure sensor does not need to be installed, it should not be installed.
