Product Introduction

Stainless steel manholes have already been formed, with a diameter of usually 600mm. The center of the manhole is generally 750mm from the floor, making it convenient for workers to enter and exit the oil tank and ventilate during installation, cleaning, and maintenance.
The manhole for non-metallic oil tanks is located on the top of the tank, while the manhole for metallic oil tanks is located on the bottom ring plate of the tank wall. Most of them are circular holes with a diameter of 600mm, with a center distance of 750mm from the bottom plate, used for oil tank cleaning or maintenance personnel to enter and exit the oil tank, also known as road doors. During maintenance and cleaning of oil tanks, use manholes for lighting and ventilation. The capacity of a vertical oil tank is 5000m ³; 1-2 manholes shall be provided below, and 2 manholes shall be provided for areas over 5000m ³. The installation of manholes should be separated from the inlet and outlet oil pipelines by no more than 90 degrees. When only one manhole is set up, it should be placed opposite the transparent hole on the top of the tank; When setting up two manholes, one should be located opposite the transparent hole, and the other should be at least 90 degrees away from the first manhole.
The manhole should be located near the right side of the inlet and outlet oil pipes, and should be as close as possible to the sealed door of the tank room for personnel to enter and exit, repair oil tanks, and ventilation pipes.
Due to the installation of manholes on the bottom layer of the oil tank, leakage prevention is particularly important. The joint surface of the two flanges must ensure its flatness and no floating or twisting phenomenon. The reinforcing plate and flange should be cut on the entire steel plate as much as possible without splicing. Sealing rings are machined on the flanges and cover plates, and special attention should be paid to protection during construction. Seal with 3mm thick asbestos rubber gasket, no cracking allowed. When tightening the bolts on the manhole cover plate during installation, apply force diagonally and evenly to prevent deformation of the cover plate.
