In the past, the determination of sludge moisture content was generally based on the traditional weight method, which calculated the moisture content of sludge from the ratio of the weight of the dried sludge to the original weight of the sludge. Although this method is accurate, it is particularly time-consuming and cannot truly meet the efficient operation requirements of sewage treatment plants. The Boshi sludge moisture detector uses efficient halogen lamps to heat and determine the moisture and solid content of sludge, which is fast and time-saving. Working Principle:

The traditional method for determining sludge moisture is usually through oven drying. Testing a sludge sample takes two to three or even three to four hours, and it also requires weighing on a balance and manual calculation to obtain the moisture value (moisture content) of the sample. Although the oven method for moisture determination is accurate, its low efficiency cannot meet the fast-paced production needs of enterprises. The BOS series halogen moisture analyzer is a newly developed rapid moisture analyzer by Xiamen Boshi Testing Equipment Co., Ltd. It uses a high-power drying heater - circular halogen lamp to quickly and uniformly heat sewage and sludge samples, and the moisture content of the samples is continuously dried. Throughout the measurement process, the instrument automatically displays the measurement results in real-time, including sample weight, moisture content, solid content, measurement time, heating temperature, etc.

The BOS series rapid moisture analyzer applies the principle of oven drying method, and the measurement results have good consistency with the oven method moisture measurement, but the work efficiency is much higher than that of the oven method moisture measurement.
