IRAffinity-1 adopts a new high brightness ceramic light source, a new high-sensitivity DLATGS detector, efficient optical components, and optimized design of optical and electronic systems, thus achieving the highest signal-to-noise ratio among products of the same level (30000:1, 1-minute scan, around 2100 cm-1, S/N under peak to peak conditions), as well as a maximum resolution of 0.5 cm-1. Moreover, the appearance of IRAffinity-1 is novel, simple, and compact in size, reducing the installation area by about 20% compared to the original model of Shimadzu Corporation.
