The anti-corrosion treatment of explosive discs should meet the following requirements:

(1) When using spraying or electroplating methods, the protective layer formed on the protected surface should be uniform and dense;

(2) When using anti-corrosion protective film, the protective film formed on the protected surface should not leak air and should be provided as a complete set or whole with the bursting disc safety device;

(3) The anti-corrosion measures should be completed by the manufacturer of the bursting disc safety device, and the anti-corrosion treatment measures should not affect or reduce the design performance indicators of the bursting disc safety device;

(4) The performance inspection of the bursting disc safety device should be carried out after the anti-corrosion treatment is completed.

The material of the blasting disc safety device should have good corrosion resistance, uniform and stable mechanical properties, and thermal stability, and be able to meet the basic safety requirements of the protected pressure equipment.

The commonly used materials for explosive discs are allowed to use temperatures of 400 ℃ for austenitic stainless steel, 430 ℃ for Monel, 480 ℃ for Inconel and Hastelloy. The commonly used sealing film materials in explosive disc components should not exceed 200 ℃ for F46, 260 ℃ for F4, and 400 ℃ for aluminum. The allowable operating temperature for bursting discs with sealing membranes should be determined based on the overlapping temperature range between the sealing membrane material and the bursting disc material.

The materials used for blasting discs and clamps shall comply with the corresponding standards or industry standards, and shall have quality certification documents (including quality certificates and qualification certificates) provided by the material manufacturing unit.

Before the explosive disc material is put into use, it should be re inspected according to the corresponding material standards and design drawings, and can only be used after passing the inspection.

For use in corrosive environments that may cause leakage or premature failure of the bursting disc safety device, anti-corrosion treatment measures such as electroplating, spraying, or lining can be taken on the surface of the bursting disc or clamp to prevent corrosion failure of the bursting disc safety device.
