Product Details

Second hand quantityGear base joint testerM1-16

The M1-16 second-hand gear base joint inspection instrument is used to check the base joint deviation of cylindrical gears with straight and helical teeth, and indicates it with a high-precision micrometer. The instrument has a compact structure and is easy to operate. Suitable for measuring rooms and workshops in various factories.

Instrument working principle

Using a measuring surface tangent to the tooth profile The minimum distance measured by a measuring contact that swings along the tooth surface reflects the deviation value of the base joint.

operating steps

The measurable gear module is M1-16mm.
2. The diameter of the hole that matches the indicator is Φ 8H7, and the indication value range is ± 0.05mm within any 30 divisions, 0.001mm within any 50 divisions. The indication error within the entire indication range is ± 0.0005mm, and the indication variability is ± 0.001mm, ± 0.0015mm, and 0.0003mm.
3. The indication error of the instrument is ± 0.002mm within any 20 divisions, the indication variability is ± 0.003mm within any 50 divisions, 0.0005mm within any 10 divisions, and 0.001mm within any 50 divisions.
4. The surface roughness Ra value of the block working surface shall not exceed 0.05 μ m, the flatness tolerance of the contact surface between the block working surface and the gauge block shall be 0.15 μ m, the parallelism tolerance of the block working surface shall be 0.5 μ m (excluding the range within 0.5mm from the edge of the block working surface), and the size difference between the front and rear block working surfaces shall not exceed 0.5 μ m.
5. There shall be no external defects that affect the performance of use.
6. Fasteners should be securely fastened without any looseness.

1. preparation

oCheck all components of the instrument(Check if the V-shaped groove, measuring head, and indicator are intact, and add lubricating oil to the sliding parts ^ ^ 3 ^ ^.

oClean the surface of the tested gear to avoid oil stains or burrs affecting measurement accuracy^^2 ^ ^.

2. Adjustment of gauge length

oSelect gauge length based on gear module(Loosen the fixing screw of the measuring head (5mm or 10mm), move the cone rod sleeve to the corresponding position, and tighten it ^ ^ 3 ^ ^.

oUse gauge blocks to calibrate the zero position and ensure that the initial reading of the indicator is the nominal base value^^2 ^ ^.

3. measurement process

oPlace the gear inV-shaped groove (with the straight edge of the threaded steel facing upwards), after fixing, lower the measuring head to the contact tooth surface, and then lower it by 1-2mm to reserve a driving allowance of ^ ^ 3 ^ ^.

oRotate the handle at a constant speed to move the measuring head along the tooth surface and read the deviation value of the indicator, which needs to be evenly distributed around the circumferenceMeasure at 3 or more points and take the maximum value ^ ^ 2 ^ ^.

Precautions

·Measurement standardsThe probe connection must coincide with the normal of the contact point of the base circle to avoid errors caused by tilting.

·Maintenance requirementsStore in a dry environment, regularly lubricate sliding parts, and prohibit disassembling precision components on your own.

·Safety WarningTo prevent damage to the gear surface caused by the impact of the measuring head during operation, power off operation is required to replace the gauge length.
