Attachment: Experimental Procedure:

10. programProcedure

10.1 Sample soaking

10.1.1 The specimen should be placed vertically in the test container with a wide surface, and separated from the container and between specimens by glass or other non-metallic rods with a minimum diameter of 6mm. The longitudinal axes of the sample can be perpendicular or parallel to each other, as shown in Figure 10.

The ratio of the sample solution volume to the sample surface area should not be less than 3mL/cm2As long as the specified ratio is met and the samples are immersed in the solution and not in contact with each other, as many samples as possible can be placed in one container and exposed simultaneously.

10.1.3 The solution is prepared in a separately sealed container and before introducing the nitrogen purged test container,expel air

10.2 Pure nitrogen and hydrogen sulfide gases should be introduced from near the bottom of the test vessel,Perform deoxygenation and hydrogen sulfide testing.

10.3 Measurement of pH Value

10.3.1 If solution A is used, the pH value of the solution should be measured immediately after saturation with hydrogen sulfide at the beginning of the experiment, and its value should be within the range of 2.7-3.3. If solution B is used, the pH value of the solution should be measured immediately after hydrogen sulfide saturation, and its value should be within the range of 4.8~5.4.

After the experiment is completed, the pH value of the solution should be measured and recorded. For solution A, the effective pH value of the experiment should not exceed 4.0; For solution B, the effective pH value for the experiment should be within the range of 4.8-5.4.

10.4 Test duration

The duration of the experiment should be96 hours. The test time should be calculated from the initial 60 minutes of hydrogen sulfide gas filling and the minimum concentration of hydrogen sulfide gas being 2300mg/L (10.2.3).

The temperature of the test solution should be maintained at 25 ℃± 3 ℃.

11. evaluationEvaluation

After the immersion test, each sample should be cleaned to remove surface products and deposits. The soaked sample can be cleaned with a cleaning agent and wire brush or lightly sandblasted. The soaked sample is not allowed to be cleaned by acid washing or any other cleaning method that may promote hydrogen absorption.

11.2 Cut the test surface of the cleaned sample according to the type requirements.

11.3 If necessary, each section should be etched and metallographic polished to distinguish cracks from small inclusions, delamination, scratches, or other discontinuous defects. But it can only be slightly etched, heavy etching may obscure small cracks. It is very important to use metallographic preparation method to clean the surface of the sample in the experiment, otherwise some important cracks will not be visible. Before the final metallographic polishing, all surfaces that need to be inspected should undergo wet magnetic particle inspection or macroscopic etching. Other sampling methods can also be used, but it is required to prove that the method can clearly display the existing cracks after the final polishing, and the process of the method should be described in detail.

11.4 Cracks should be measured as shown in Figure 11. When measuring the length and thickness of cracks, several cracks with a distribution distance less than 0.5mm should be considered as one crack. When measuring cracks in curved or circular sections, especially in full-size pipe tests, the curvature of the section should be taken into account. Except for cracks within 1mm on the inner and outer surfaces of the specimen, all cracks that can be identified at a magnification of 100 times should be included (in order to distinguish small cracks, inclusions, surface corrosion resistance, or other discontinuous defects on the cross-section, the cross-section can be inspected at higher magnifications).

11.5 The crack sensitivity rate (CSR), crack length rate (CLR), and crack thickness rate (CTR) should be calculated separately according to formulas 1, 2, and 3, and the crack rate of each section and the average crack rate of each specimen should be reported.

Crack sensitivity rate

Crack length ratio

Crack thickness ratio

Where:

Crack length, in millimeters;

B crack thickness, in millimeters;

W sample width, in millimeters;

The thickness of the T specimen is measured in millimeters.

12. reportReport
