S-shaped arc-shaped sieve
Product Introduction
S-shaped arc-shaped sieve
Sharp upper corner
To make the curved screen function well, it is important that the rod forming the screen plate has a sharp upper edge in contact with the fluid. If there are abrasive substances in the water, the upper edge of the sieve rod will gradually become rounded and blunt, while its lower edge will become sharper.
In this case, regularly reversing the sieve plate up and down is beneficial for extending its lifespan and restoring screening efficiency. The fibers in the suspension are always arranged in an orderly manner along the flow direction. In this way, the vast majority of fibers with a length wider than the sieve slot will be trapped on the surface of the sieve plate, sliding down to the discharge port, and depending on the application, solid matter with a discharge concentration of 3-4% will be discharged.
Under normal operating conditions, the sieve plate will cause continuous fluid turbulence. If there is a tendency for blockage under abnormal circumstances, even during operation, it can be easily cleaned by water pipes. In extremely difficult usage scenarios, a swinging cleaning device can be installed on the sieve to automatically clean the entire screening surface at certain intervals. The consumption of cleaning water for the slurry screening machine is 120 LPM (32 GPM) per sieve plate, and the required water pressure is 70 Bar (100psi).
Grading and concentration
The SRS type curved screen is a simple and efficient device that can recover fibers and other particles with lengths as short as 350 microns from aqueous suspensions. The arc-shaped screen has a compact structure, no moving parts, and requires minimal maintenance.
The unique sieve plate is composed of arc-shaped surfaces formed by wedge-shaped bars, with horizontal gaps between the bars, typically 350 microns wide. The liquid flow to be screened enters the slurry box and flows towards the sieve plate through a weir by gravity. When the suspension flows along the sieve plate, the thin layer of water is cut off by the sieve plate rod and passes through the sieve gap together with the small particles. Scope of application
