working principle

Before starting, the pump should be filled with liquid, and this process is called pumping. During operation, the liquid in the pump impeller rotates with the impeller, resulting in centrifugal force. Under this centrifugal force, the liquid flies out of the impeller. Then exclude the pump from the pump casing and pipeline. Thus transporting the liquid.

structural characteristics

The pump is directly connected to the motor, and the impeller is directly fixed on the shaft of the motor and placed in the same sealed housing. There is no sealing device between the pump and the motor, so the motor rotor rotates in the conveyed liquid. The stator coil of the motor is made of a thin-walled cylinder (shielding sleeve) made of corrosion-resistant non-magnetic material to isolate it from the liquid. The bearings of the pump and motor are generally made of corrosion-resistant materials (such as graphite).
The motor and pump of the shielded electric pump form a whole. The inner surface of the stator and the outer surface of the rotor are sealed and welded with non-magnetic and corrosion-resistant metal sheets, which completely separate the stator winding and rotor core from the conveying liquid and prevent them from being corroded by the conveying liquid. In addition, the impeller and rotor are mounted on the same shaft and supported by two bearings before and after the motor. The entire rotor body is immersed in the conveying fluid, without any rotating parts that connect with the outside world, making it an absolutely leak free structure.

1. SPG ordinary pipeline shielded pump is used for transporting clean water and other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clean water.
