Product Overview

There are various names for intelligent variable frequency control cabinets, such as: variable frequency cabinet, variable frequency water supply equipment control cabinet, intelligent water supply control cabinet, variable frequency control cabinet, and so on.

Equipment Composition

The main components of the Shanben Intelligent Frequency Conversion Control Cabinet are: frequency converter, microcomputer control board, human-machine interface, PLC programmable controller, PID control, central processing CPU, fault automatic recording system, various low-voltage electrical appliances, and cabinet body.

Control method

   1. Liquid level control: This control cabinet is equipped with a high-performance Key float switch, which automatically controls the on/off of the water supply and drainage pumps based on changes in liquid level.
   2. Pressure control: External electrical contact pressure gauge or pressure controller can automatically turn on and off the pump according to changes in pipeline pressure. This type is widely used in domestic water supply and fire pressure boosting systems.
   3. Temperature control: an external temperature controller that can turn on or off the pump according to the set temperature range, suitable for applications such as constant temperature and heat exchange systems that require temperature control.
   4. Time control: The chassis panel is equipped with a time setting button and a display, allowing users to control the on and off of the water pump according to their timing needs. It is suitable for controlling various timed or regular intermittent working modes.

workflow

According to the actual operational requirements, the water supply pressure is first set, and then powered on for operation. The pressure sensor monitors the pipeline pressure and converts it into an electrical signal feedback to the frequency converter. After analyzing and processing the feedback value and the set value, the frequency converter controls the operation of the water pump, ultimately achieving consistency between the feedback value and the set value. When the water consumption increases, the system pressure decreases, the feedback value is less than the set value, the output voltage and frequency of the frequency converter increase, the pump speed increases, and the water output increases; When the water consumption decreases, the speed of the water pump decreases, reducing the water output and maintaining the set pressure value of the pipeline network. When multiple water pumps are running in parallel, the addition and subtraction of the pumps are automatically completed to achieve automatic constant pressure water supply. For example, the entire system consists of four water pumps, a frequency converter, a PLC, and a PID controller (PLC is an electronic device designed specifically for digital operations in industrial environments). It uses programmable memory to store instructions for performing logical operations, sequential operations, timing, counting, and arithmetic operations internally, and can control various types of machinery or production processes through digital or analog inputs and outputs. In addition, the above system is also equipped with peripheral auxiliary circuits to ensure that the automatic control system can maintain system operation through manual adjustment in case of faults, ensuring continuous production.

Scope of Application

The intelligent frequency conversion control cabinet has multiple protection functions such as overcurrent, overload, short circuit, power shortage, phase loss protection, pump leakage, motor overheating and leakage, and complete display status. It also has single pump and multi pump control working modes, multiple main and backup pump switching modes, and various starting methods. It can be widely used for automatic control in various occasions such as water supply, drainage, fire protection, sprinkler network pressurization, HVAC cold and hot water circulation in industrial and agricultural production and various buildings.

Users can determine the model and number of water pumps based on the water supply volume and height, and then select the control cabinet. It can meet the requirements of the water pump power and the number of control units, or choose a slightly larger power with no options for smaller options.
