The SJ series cone sand making machine (also known as ultra-fine cone crusher/dry sand making machine) is a new concept of sand making equipment independently developed by Shuangjin Machinery based on the efficient crushing mechanism of cone crushers, using multi cylinder hydraulic technology to address the shortcomings of traditional vertical axis sand making machines in practical use, combined with market requirements for sand making equipment, by applying patented technology with independent intellectual property rights in product structure, materials, processes, and other aspects. Unlike the traditional vertical axis sand making machine that uses the principle of "stone grinding", this conical sand making machine uses the working principle of "stone milling" to achieve sand making, from "grinding" to "grinding", making it easier and more efficient to turn stone into sand. Mainly suitable for crushing pebbles below 60mm, shaping high-speed road stones, shaping basalt single particles, and dry sand production.

Working principle of SJ cone sand making machine
The working components of a cone type sand making machine (also known as a ultra-fine cone machine/dry sand making machine) are two cones, one is a moving cone fixed on the spindle, and the other is a stationary cone that is part of the frame. The centerline of the main spindle cone intersects with the centerline of the fixed cone at a β angle (about 1 °). The lower end of the spindle is inserted into an eccentric bushing, which rotates around the bushing at an eccentric distance, causing the moving cone to perform eccentric swinging motion along the inner surface of the fixed cone. When it approaches the fixed cone, the stone material at that location is crushed by the squeezing, bending, and shearing effects of the moving cone. When it deviates from the fixed cone, the already broken stone material falls to the bottom of the cone due to gravity. As the eccentric bushing continues to rotate, the moving cone also rotates and swings continuously. Therefore, the crushing process and unloading process are carried out continuously along the inner surface of the fixed cone in sequence. (As shown in the figure)
When crushing stone materials, friction is generated on the surface of the moving cone due to the crushing force, which is opposite in direction to the direction of the cone's movement. Therefore, a torque is formed on the main axis, causing the moving cone to rotate in the opposite direction while also rotating around the axis. This self rotating motion can promote a more uniform particle size of the product and also make the wear on the surface of the moving cone uniform. Stone is crushed by compression, bending, and shearing between two conical surfaces, and can be freely discharged after crushing, resulting in high production capacity and low power consumption.
