Sample excitation and transmission

The disk electrode rotates to transport the sample in the oil box to the gap between it and the rod electrode. Then, under the action of oscillating arc, the two jointly generate instantaneous high temperature, causing the oil sample to evaporate and dissociate into gaseous atoms, which are excited to form characteristic spectral lines of the elements. The combination of rod electrode and disk electrode forms an arc discharge zone, ensuring that the sample is fully excited, and the design of immersing it in the oil box helps to stabilize the oil sample transportation.

Using high-purity graphite (spectral grade), it has high strength, high density, high temperature resistance, and chemical stability. The uniformity of porosity is good, which can reduce background noise and improve detection accuracy.

The impurity content directly affects the background signal interference, and the porosity affects the stability of the arc temperature, thereby determining the repeatability and accuracy of the detection results.
