The water sample flows into the sampling tank. When the piston moves upward, the water sample is carried into the hole. When the piston moves downward, the sample water is discharged from the hole. Particles in the water temporarily adhere to the surfaces of the piston and cylinder. When the water is pushed back by the piston, the positive and negative electrons around these particles move downward to the electrode, and the detected signal is amplified and ultimately converted into the SCV display value. This type of current generated by the movement of electric current is called the "flow current".
