working principle

Measure the stomatal conductance of leaves using steady-state techniques. Clamp a channel clamp with a known diffusion rate onto the blade, measure the water vapor pressure gradient on the blade surface to obtain the water vapor flux, and then use the water vapor flux and the known channel diffusion rate to determine the stomatal conductance of the blade.
