Repair of airtightness testerIntroduction:
⚠️ Safety instructions before maintenance:
Before conducting any internal inspection or maintenance, please be sure to cut off the power supply of the equipment to prevent electric shock accidents or secondary damage caused by misoperation.
🔍 Common faults and maintenance methods:
The faults of the airtightness tester can usually be classified into the following categories, and you can make preliminary judgments and handle them based on the fault symptoms.
1. Power supply and display malfunction
Fault symptoms: The device cannot be turned on, starts slowly, the display screen is black, garbled or flashing.
Possible reasons and solutions:
Power issue: Check if the power cord is securely connected, if the power adapter is damaged, or if the battery is fully drained. Try replacing the power supply or using a regulated power supply.
Display module malfunction: Check if the connection cable of the display screen is loose. If the connection is normal but the problem persists, it may be due to damage to the display screen or main control board, which requires professional maintenance or replacement.
Internal circuit issues: Aging, poor contact, or damage to components on the circuit board may also result in the inability to power on.
2. Detecting data anomalies
Fault symptoms: unstable readings, large fluctuations, decreased sensitivity, or frequent false alarms.
Possible reasons and solutions:
Sensor malfunction: The sensor is a core component and may experience decreased sensitivity or damage due to prolonged exposure to dust, oil, or corrosive gases. You can try blowing with clean compressed air. If it doesn't work, you need to replace the original sensor.
Parameter setting error: Check if the parameters such as detection pressure and time are set correctly and meet the standards of the current tested product.
Calibration required: The accuracy of the equipment may deviate over time and requires regular (usually recommended every 6 months) professional calibration.
3. Fault in the pneumatic system
Fault symptoms: The internal pressure of the equipment cannot be maintained, the air pressure is unstable, the air pump works abnormally or has no response.
Possible reasons and solutions:
Gas leakage: Check if all gas pipe joints are loose, and if the sealing rings are aged or cracked. Replacing aging sealing rings and damaged air tubes is a common solution.
Air blockage: Pipelines or filters may be blocked by impurities, resulting in poor airflow. It is necessary to disassemble and clean the gas pipeline and filter screen.
Air pump malfunction: The impeller inside the air pump may be stuck or the motor may be aging. You can try cleaning foreign objects, but if the damage is severe, you need to replace the air pump.
4. Software and communication failures
Fault symptoms: Equipment control system malfunction, unresponsive buttons, and inability to transmit data to the computer.
Possible reasons and solutions:
Software system error: Attempting to reset the device to factory settings or restart.
Firmware issue: Check for available firmware updates, upgrading firmware may fix program errors.
Communication interface failure: Check if there is any physical damage to the USB and other communication ports, and if the connecting wires are intact. You can try replacing the data cable.
🛡️Repair of airtightness testerDaily maintenance and upkeep suggestions:
Scientific daily maintenance can greatly extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the occurrence of malfunctions.
Regular cleaning: Regularly clean the external and internal dust of the equipment, especially the sensors and air circuit interfaces, to prevent impurities from affecting performance.
Regular calibration: Establish a calibration plan to ensure the accuracy of test results, which is particularly important for high-precision testing.
Proper storage: Store the equipment in a dry and clean environment, avoiding high humidity, high temperature, or corrosive gas environments.
Use original accessories: When replacing vulnerable parts such as sensors and seals, try to use original accessories to ensure equipment compatibility and detection accuracy.
Standardized operation: Strengthen training for operators to avoid malfunctions caused by incorrect parameter settings or improper operations.
