The testing machine is used to determine the resistance to rapid crack propagation (RCP) of thermoplastic pipes for fluid transport under small-scale steady-state testing (S4 test). Used to evaluate the performance of thermoplastic pipes for transporting gas or liquids (which may contain air).
GB/T19280-2003Thermoplastic pipes for fluid transport - Determination of resistance to rapid crack propagation (RCP) - Small scale steady-state test (S4 test)
1)Applicable test pipe diameter: Φ90mm~Φ400mm;
2)Impact speed of the impact blade: 10m/s to 17m/s (adjustable);
3)Maximum deviation of impact velocity: ± 1.0m/s;
4)Test pressure control range: 0-2.5MPa;
5)Pressure display resolution: 0.01MPa;
6)Power supply: 220VAC 50Hz 1.0kW;
7)Instrument size: Host part: length 950mm x depth 4400mm x height 3400mm;
Electric control box section: 600mm in length, 550mm in depth, and 1100mm in height;
Applicable maximum sample diameter and sample length:
The equipment can meet the testing of rapid crack propagation resistance with a maximum sample diameter of 400mm. The total length of the sample is 7.5 times the sample diameter, and the deviation of the sample length should be less than ± 10mm.
Selection of Impact Blade:
According to the different diameter of the sample, select the required impact blade and blade positioning block. During the test, select the corresponding impact blade and blade positioning block based on the diameter of the sample;
Impact speed setting:
According to the standard test method, the range of impact velocity can be selected from 5m/s to 20m/s. During the test, the required impact velocity can be directly input on the touch screen as needed, and the system automatically measures the impact velocity of the impact blade at the moment of impact. Each experiment automatically measures the impact velocity and displays and records it;
Test pressure setting:
The control range of the test pressure is 0-2.5MPa, the accuracy of the pressure sensor is 0.5%, and the maximum upper limit pressure of the gas source is 3.0MPa (achieved by using a nitrogen cylinder and a pressure reducing valve).
Experimental process description:
1Sample pretreatment:
1.1Cut the length of the pipe according to the instructions, and the deviation of the pipe length should be within ± 10mm;
1.2 Install the pipe on the fixture, connect the pre stamped pipe to the joint on the fixture after installation, and then click the pre stamping button. The system will pre punch the sample with a pressure of about 0.05MPa. This operation has two functions: one is to check whether the clamping is in place, and the other is to pre charge the sample with a small pressure for quick stamping in the later stage;
1.3 Lift the sample with installed fixtures onto the moving rail car and secure it with locking pins;
1.4 Manually open the cold storage door and press the "Storage" button on the operation box. The moving car will automatically extend out of the track and connect with the track inside the cold storage. Manually push the rail car into the cold storage. After the rail car enters the cold storage, press the "Reset" button on the operation box to retract the moving car track;
1.5 Close the cold storage door, set the temperature of the cold storage, and determine the pre-treatment time according to the test method standards;
2Experimental operation
2.1 Set the impact speed and click the test start button. The system will automatically lift the impact blade according to the set impact speed;
2.2 Open the cold storage door and press the "outbound" button on the operation box. The moving car will automatically extend out of the track and connect to the track inside the cold storage. The grabbing device will automatically grab the track car and pull it out of the cold storage, and connect it to the main track;
2.3 After the host track detects the track car, it automatically grabs the track car, manually inserts the compression quick connector, and presses the "charging" button located next to the host track compression port. The system automatically presses the sample while pushing the track car into the host impact chamber.
2.4 After the rail car is in place, the two pairs of impact button indicator lights will light up, indicating that impact can be carried out, and at the same time, the warning indicator light installed on the side of the host will flash;
2.5 After wearing protective goggles and earplugs, press the impact button with both hands simultaneously, and the system will release the impact blade to impact the sample;
2.6 After the impact is completed, the impact knife capture device automatically impacts the knife holder and lifts the impact blade away from the impact chamber. At this time, the rail car can be controlled to exit the impact chamber through buttons for easy observation and measurement of the crack length of the sample;
3Special requirements for cold storage
3.1 The distance between the surface of the track inside the cold storage and the ground is 330mm, with an adjustable range of ± 20mm;
3.2 The bottom of the cold storage needs to be level for easy track adjustment in the later stage;
3.3 Please refer to the illustration for the minimum size;
4Venue requirements
4.1 The equipment has a high impact force, and it is best to install it on the ground floor of a spacious bungalow or building;
4.2 During the experiment, all doors and windows except for the safety protection door should be opened to quickly balance the indoor and outdoor air pressure difference;
5Customers have special needs to confirm parameters
5.1 Test host height: 3400mm (optimized size);
5.2 Construction period: Within 4 months from the date of receiving the advance payment, reach the delivery status;
5.3 Electrical requirements: meet the normal operation of Taiwan's 220V 60Hz power supply, and the temperature rise of the electrical components used is normal;
5.4 Impact force: The total weight of the impact knife holder and blade is 11kg, the impact speed is 15m/s, the impact time is calculated as 1ms, and the instantaneous impact force is about 16.5t;
5.5 The impact knife and impact knife holder adopt a symmetrical design, requiring the center of mass to be as close as possible to the impact axis;
