Product Details
Reverse osmosis (RO) is an important component of membrane separation technology, which separates substances from water at pressures higher than the osmotic pressure of the solution, based on the fact that other substances cannot pass through the semi permeable membrane.
Due to the very small pore size of reverse osmosis membranes (only about 10A), they can effectively remove dissolved salts, colloids, microorganisms, organic matter, etc. from water (with a removal rate of up to 97-98%).
It has the advantages of good water quality, low energy consumption, no pollution, simple process, and easy operation. Becoming the most energy-efficient and convenient technology for desalination of seawater and brackish water, as well as pure water preparation.
At present, it has been widely used in many industries such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, chemicals, food, seawater desalination, etc.
The RO system should adopt automatic control operation mode based on the water level of the primary desalination water tank and the system's water production capacity. If startup, shutdown, or system switching is required, it should be manually switched after confirmation by the operating personnel. The control of the RO system and the entire chemical water treatment equipment are achieved through the control system (PLC) in the control room. We select imported membrane components with high permeability, high desalination rate, good chemical stability, good anti pollution performance, and good mechanical strength based on the quality of the raw water. We propose the maximum membrane flux, recovery rate, and membrane area of the membrane components based on the water quality and SDI value of the feed water. The arrangement and combination of stages and sections of membrane components are determined by factors such as inlet water quality, recovery rate, and water production.
RO is currently the most advanced and practical desalination equipment both domestically and internationally. This system uses Dow's reverse osmosis membrane. It can remove organic matter, bacteria, and viruses, and the membrane can operate in an ultra-low pressure working environment, thereby achieving energy conservation, reducing equipment investment, and operating costs.
