Overview of QJ type tidal water deep well pump

The QJ type tidal water deep well pump is a water lifting equipment that is directly connected to a motor and a water pump for diving into water. It is suitable for extracting groundwater from deep wells and can also be used for water lifting projects such as rivers, reservoirs, and canals. It is mainly used for irrigation of farmland and water supply for humans and animals in high-altitude mountainous areas, and can also be used for drainage in cities, factories, railways, mines, and construction sites.

Terms of Use

1. A three-phase AC power supply with a rated frequency of 50 Hz and a rated voltage of 380+5% volts.
2. The inlet of the QJ deep well submersible pump must be below 1 meter of the dynamic water level, but the diving depth must not exceed 70 meters below the static water level. The distance between the lower end of the motor and the bottom of the well should be at least 1 meter.
3. The water temperature should generally not exceed 20OC.

Structural Description

1. The QJ deep well submersible pump unit consists of four main parts: water pump, submersible motor (including cables), water supply pipe, and control switch.
The QJ deep well submersible pump is a vertical centrifugal pump: the submersible motor is a closed water filled wet type, vertical three-phase cage asynchronous motor, and the motor and water pump are directly connected through a claw or single barrel coupling; Equipped with three core cables of different specifications; The starting equipment consists of air switches of different capacity levels and self coupling pressure reducing starters. The water pipes are made of steel pipes of different diameters and connected by flanges. The high lift electric pump is controlled by gate valves.
2. The QJ series submersible deep well pump is equipped with a rubber bearing in each stage of the guide housing; The impeller is fixed on the pump shaft with a conical sleeve; The guide shell is connected by threads or bolts as a whole.
3. The upper part of the QJ deep well submersible pump is equipped with a check valve to prevent damage to the unit caused by water drop during shutdown.
4. The upper part of the submersible motor shaft is equipped with a labyrinth sand inhibitor and two reverse assembled skeleton oil seals to prevent sand from entering the motor.
5. The submersible motor adopts water lubricated bearings and is equipped with rubber pressure regulating film and pressure regulating spring at the lower part, forming a pressure regulating chamber to regulate pressure changes caused by temperature; The motor winding adopts polyethylene insulation, nylon sheath, durable consumer goods, water, electricity, and magnetic wires. The cable connection method follows the QJ type cable joint process, where the insulation of the joint is removed and the paint layer is scraped off. They are then connected separately, welded firmly, and wrapped with a layer of raw rubber. Wrap 2-3 layers of waterproof adhesive tape, then wrap 2-3 layers of waterproof tape on the outside or use water glue to bond and wrap a layer of rubber tape (bicycle inner tape) to prevent water leakage.
6. The motor is sealed with precision stop bolts, and the cable outlet is sealed with rubber pads.
7. There is a water injection hole and a discharge hole at the upper end of the motor, and a discharge hole at the lower part. 8. The lower part of the motor is equipped with upper and lower thrust bearings, which have grooves for cooling and are paired with stainless steel thrust discs for grinding, following the axial force of the water pump.

Start and Stop

1. Inspection and preparation before installation:
(1) Check whether the water well meets the conditions for the use of this pump, including well diameter, vertical and wellbore quality, static water level, dynamic water level, water inflow, and water quality conditions. If it does not meet the conditions for use, corresponding measures must be taken, otherwise the pump cannot be lowered into the well.
(2) Check whether the power supply equipment and power supply lines can ensure the normal operation of the electric pump.
(3) Whether the power supply voltage and frequency meet the usage conditions.
(4) Check the safety of the components according to the packing unit and familiarize yourself with the installation and use instructions.
(5) Check that the electrical circuits, control and protection devices are reasonable, safe and reliable.
(6) Equip various installation and use tools, upright tripods, and hanging chains (or other lifting tools) to be safe, reliable, and easy to use.
2. Installation
(1) Remove the water filter screen from the machine and pump as a whole, then open the water injection and release holes and bolts to fill the machine with clean water, making sure it is filled to prevent false filling. And check for stagnant water in all parts of the motor. If water leakage is found, adjust the rubber gasket and tighten the bolts according to the components.
(2) Carefully inspect the cables and joints for any bumps or damages, and promptly wrap up any issues found.
(3) The insulation resistance of the winding measured with a 500 volt megohmmeter shall not be less than 5 megohms.
(4) Install protective switches and starting equipment, and check if the motor is fully filled with water. Then tighten the water injection and air release hole bolts, pour water from the top of the valve body until it flows out from the inlet joint and instantly start the motor (no more than 1 second). Check if the direction of rotation of the electric pump is the same as the direction indicator. If it is the opposite, replace the power connector, and then install the wire guard and water filter screen to prepare for installation in the well.
(5) Install a short water pipe at the outlet of the pump and clamp it with a clamp to lift it into the well, so that the clamp is seated on the well platform.
(6) Then clamp another section of the water supply pipe with a pair of clamps, and lift and lower it to connect with the flange of the short water supply pipe. Lift the suspension chain and remove the first clamp, allowing the pump pipe to descend into the well and sit on the well platform again. Repeat the installation process in sequence until it is fully installed, and fix the pump to the wellhead without removing the last clamp.
(7) Finally, place the manhole cover, bend it, and install the gate valve outlet pipe.
(8) Each time the flange is connected, a rubber pad should be added, and after alignment, the fastening screws should be tightened diagonally to prevent tilting and water leakage.
(9) The cable should be fixed in the groove on the flange of the water supply pipe, and each section should be secured with a rope. During the process of going down the well, be careful not to use the cable as a hanging rope, and do not damage the cable.
(10) During the process of lowering the pump, there may be a jamming phenomenon, and efforts should be made to overcome the jamming point. It is not advisable to forcefully lower the pump to avoid jamming.
(11) When installing pumps in large wells, it is strictly prohibited for personnel to enter the well.
(12) Protective switches and starting equipment should be equipped with voltage and current meters, indicator lights, and installed on the distribution panel in appropriate positions around the wellhead.
3. Start up
(1) Measure the insulation resistance of the motor winding to ground with a 500 volt megohmmeter, which should not be less than 5 megohms.
(2) Check the three-phase power supply circuit and whether the voltage meets the requirements of various instruments, protective equipment, and wiring before closing and starting.
(3) After starting, observe whether the current and voltage meet the specified range, whether there are any abnormal sounds or vibrations during operation. If there are any abnormalities, promptly identify the cause and solve them.
4. Parking
(1) Turn off the switch to stop, and wait for 5 minutes or more before restarting to prevent the motor temperature from rising too high. It is best to cut off the power after stopping.
(2) The practice of not disabling the protective switch or using lead or copper wire to increase the fuse is incorrect.

Maintenance and Care

1. During the operation of the electric pump, it is necessary to regularly observe the current, voltmeter, and water flow rate, in order to ensure that the pump operates at its rated condition.
2. Valves should be used to regulate flow and head, and overloading operation is not allowed. If any of the following situations occur, the operation should be stopped immediately:
(1) When the current exceeds the rated value at rated voltage;
(2) At rated head, the flow rate decreases significantly compared to normal conditions;
(3) The insulation resistance is less than 0.5 megaohms;
(4) When the dynamic water level drops to the pump suction port;
(5) When electrical equipment and circuits do not comply with regulations;
(6) When there is a sudden sound or significant vibration from the electric pump;
(7) When the protection switch trips frequently.
3. Regularly observe the instruments and check the electrical equipment. Measure the motor insulation resistance every half month, and the resistance value should not be less than 0.5 megohms.
4. Perform maintenance and protection every 2500 hours during the drainage period, and replace damaged and vulnerable parts.
5. Lifting and loading/unloading of electric pumps:
(1) Open the cable and disconnect the power supply;
(2) Gradually dismantle the water pipe, gate valve, and bend pipe with installation tools, and lift the pump out of the well cover with a clamp plate. Then, clamp the next section of the water supply pipe with another set of clamps, and dismantle the pump section by section to lift it out of the well. (If it is found to be stuck during the lifting and dismantling process, it cannot be lifted forcefully. It should be lifted and unloaded safely by moving up, down, left, and right to overcome the stuck point.);
(3) Remove the wire guard, filter screen, and cut the cable from the lead and three core cable or flat cable joint.
(4) Remove the locking ring of the coupling, unscrew the fixing screws, and remove the connecting bolts to separate the motor and water pump;
(5) Release the motor and fill it with water;
(6) Disassembly of water pump: Use a disassembly and assembly hand to remove the inlet joint on the left side, and use a disassembly and assembly cylinder to impact the conical sleeve at the bottom of the pump. After the impeller loosens, remove the impeller, conical sleeve, and remove the guide housing. In this way, remove the impeller, guide housing, upper guide housing, check valve, etc. in sequence.
(7) Motor disassembly: sequentially remove the base, thrust bearing, thrust disc, lower guide bearing seat connection seat, water slinger, take out the rotor, and remove the upper guide bearing seat, stator, etc.
6. Assembly of electric pump: Before assembly, check and clean the rust and sludge of each component, apply butter to the mating surfaces for rust prevention, and apply lead oil to the large thread connection of the water pump.
(1) The assembly sequence of the motor; Stator assembly, considering bearing seat assembly, rotor assembly. Thrust plate, left retaining nut, thrust bearing assembly, base assembly, upper guide bearing seat assembly, skeleton oil seal, connecting seat. Adjust the screw to ensure that the motor shaft extension meets the specified requirements. Then install and adjust the film, pressure regulating spring, and cover.
(2) Assembly of water pump: Fix the shaft and inlet joint on the mounting seat, use a disassembly cylinder to fix the impeller and conical sleeve on the shaft, and then install the guide housing and impeller. This completes the installation of the upstream housing, check valve, etc. in sequence. When assembling the motor water pump below level 8, first evenly distribute it between the inlet joint and the contact plane of the upper guide bearing seat, add the same 3-3.5mm gaskets 3-4 times, then evenly tighten the tension nuts, install the coupling, pump shaft, fixing bolts and lock rings, use a disassembly cylinder to fix the impeller and conical sleeve on the pump shaft, and then install the guide housing and impeller Install the guide housing and other components in sequence. After the pump is installed, loosen the tension nut, take the gasket, and then tighten the tension nut evenly. Then rotate the electric pump from the coupling uniformly.
(3) The final assembly of the unit, as mentioned earlier.
