Promet Eexd can provide single channel and dual channel humidity measurement, and electronic pressure readings can be integrated into a field installed explosion-proof enclosure. The user interface can display fluorescence readings and touch button switches. This product features a well-designed comprehensive sampling system with optimal sample filtration, pressure reduction, and flow control, as well as installation and application options that meet specific user needs.
Simple explosion-proof installation
Promet EExd is explosion-proof certified and can be used in IEC1 and 2/NEC Class 1 and 2 hazardous areas. The main equipment (electronics and sensors) and related sampling systems can be installed in convenient locations near pipelines or processes, and provide gas sampling and ventilation connections. The measuring instrument and sampling system each require a low-power single AC power supply. No need for isolation devices or safety grounding, saving costs and inconvenience for users.
Excellent sensing technology
Promet EExd sampling Michell ceramic humidity sensor provides unparalleled reliability and good performance for over 1000 natural gas and petrochemical owners. Thick film and thin film semiconductor technology combined with metalized ceramics create extremely durable sensors with a measurement sensitivity of up to 10 ppbV for moisture content and a maximum withstand voltage of 138 barg (2000 PSI). Unlike previous alumina technologies, the natural immunity of ceramic sensors to pressure shocks eliminates any risk of sensor failure during debugging or shutdown, while the sensor's superior inertness provides excellent resistance to chemical corrosion, even in extreme acid gases with H2S concentration levels. Ceramic sensors respond to the measured gas water vapor partial pressure, which is directly related to the dew point temperature. Each Promet EExd sensor is calibrated in a certified laboratory by Michell and can be directly traced back to NPL (UK) and NIST (USA) standards. Accurate craftsmanship ensures optimal accuracy of moisture content within ± 10% of the measured value.
