Working principle of Wilton pneumatic diaphragm pump:

When compressed air enters the left diaphragm medium chamber through the air distribution valve, the diaphragm is pushed out under pressure, forming a compression stroke. The medium in the compression section is forced to leave the left outer isolation membrane chamber through the ball core valve seat and the manifold. Then it flows out from the outlet end of the pump, which can be located at the top, bottom, or side. Set at the top or bottom of each outer diaphragm chamber or share one inlet and outlet pipe. The diaphragm chambers on the left and right are connected by suction and outlet joints, and the pump uses self-priming to achieve suction of the medium. When the diaphragm plate of the left diaphragm chamber is pushed out under pressure, the diaphragm connecting shaft pulls the right diaphragm inward inside the intermediate body, filling it with fluid. After this cycle is completed, the air valve will automatically change position, causing the air to switch to another diaphragm chamber and repeat the above cycle in reverse, that is, the two diaphragm chambers will present alternating compression strokes and medium pumping actions.

The structure of Wilton pneumatic diaphragm pump:

The Wilton pneumatic diaphragm pump is mainly composed of a pneumatic motor, a liquid fluid cover, a diaphragm component, a ball valve component, inlet and outlet pipes, a muffler, and other components.

1. Pneumatic motor: mainly composed of three parts: motor body, main valve, and directional valve. The modified part is a device that converts the energy of compressed air into the kinetic energy of reciprocating motion, and is a basic and main component of diaphragm pumps.

2. Fluid cover: Combined with the motor body (or air cover) to form a cavity.

3. Diaphragm components: consisting of diaphragm connecting rod, diaphragm gasket, diaphragm bolt and corresponding O-ring, and diaphragm. The diaphragm separates the chamber into an air chamber and a flow chamber, and the diaphragm component moves back and forth under the action of the air motor, creating a pressure difference between the air chamber and the flow chamber.

4. Ball valve component: composed of a ball, a ball seat, and corresponding O-ring seals. Function as a one-way valve.

5. Inlet and outlet pipe: It only serves as a pipeline for fluid to enter and exit the pump body.

6. Muffler: The noise generated during the operation of a low lift pump.
