If various impurities are mixed in the raw materials (resins, powders) of the plastic industry, it will cause damage and impact on the appearance of downstream customer products. Especially for some customers or customers of transparent and white products, the amount of impurities in the raw materials will greatly affect the production process and the quality of the final product.
Therefore, defects in raw materials such as yellow index, black spots, black spot particles, color particles, etc. must meet strict requirements. How to identify these defects, analyze the reasons, optimize the process, and add relevant equipment to detect defects in the production process has become a practical requirement for high-quality users. This product is suitable for particle testing with particles no larger than 200 microns and particles larger than 300 microns.
The national standard GB/T 9348-2008 adopts human eye detection, which has a low recognition rate. The identification rate of impurities below 100um is relatively low, and the data deviation is relatively large. There is no tracking record of data information. The items for unified testing include:

working principle
Particles are scanned by high-resolution color cameras and analyzed by specialized analysis software to detect defects, impurities, and color differences. The detection system guides the material to be tested into the vibration platform through a hopper and evenly passes through the detection unit. There are various automated feeding methods, such as a multi hopper feeding system or an automatic online sampling system. The dust attached to the testing platform and lens can be eliminated through software to eliminate its interference with the analysis.
The inspection process can be observed through a display, visible defects are marked and indexed, and particularly important graphics can be stored. The test results can be represented through various charts and tables. The data, software adjustments, detection time, and duration are all easily obtainable, making it convenient for future and long-term evaluations.
This instrument can be integrated into any internal data processing system through an existing software interface, such as via Ethernet.
