Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) is a colorless, odorless, odorless, and non-toxic non combustible gas at room temperature and pressure, with excellent thermal stability. Its insulation performance and fire extinguishing performance are greatly superior to insulating oil. Under the same conditions, its insulation capacity is more than 2.5 times that of air and nitrogen, and its arc extinguishing capacity is 100 times that of air, making it currently an excellent insulation and arc extinguishing medium. Therefore, it is widely used in the power, electronics, and electrical industries, as well as in laser, medical, meteorological, refrigeration, firefighting, chemical, military, aerospace, non-ferrous metallurgy, physics research, and more. GIS switchgear, SF6 circuit breakers and other electrical equipment use SF6 gas as the insulation medium to achieve insulation and arc extinguishing functions.

The Gasboard-3000 series is a high-performance portable decomposition gas analyzer independently developed by Sifang Instrument. It is mainly used to detect and analyze SO2, H2S, CO, etc. in SF6 gas of electrical equipment such as GIS switches and SF6 circuit breakers, and quickly diagnose internal faults of electrical equipment. Basic Principles

The Gasboard-3000 series gas analyzer is a composite optical measurement solution based on UV-DOAS, TDLAS, and micro flow NDIR technologies. The product light source adopts imported xenon lamps, which use the differential absorption characteristic intensity generated by each molecule in different wavelength bands when light is transmitted in the gas to deduce the gas type and concentration. Using different algorithms, the gas chamber returns multiple times with a long optical path, which has the characteristics of high sensitivity, strong signal absorption, long service life, and good stability. Can accurately measure SF6Trace amounts of SO in gases2、H2S. CO gas concentration, with a measurement range of less than 100ppm.
