But when the driving brake fails and an emergency situation requires stopping, the parking brake can also be used for emergency stopping. When parking, the parking brake must be applied. By understanding the precautions of the brake, we can intuitively understand some of the driver's misoperations during operation, which need to be paid attention to and corrected here.nOnce the hydraulic brake fails, it is a very serious matter because it directly affects the safety of operators and equipment, and the brake not returning to its original position is a common fault.
Below are three common ways of judging it. After stopping, touch the brake drums of each wheel with your hand. If all the brake drums are heating up and the degree of heating is similar, then the fault of not returning to the original position is that the master cylinder does not have free travel when wearing the brake pedal. If only a few wheels are heating up, the fault lies in the brake of that wheel. When all the wheels of the car are overheating, the free stroke of the brake pedal should be checked first. If the free travel is normal, the main cylinder oil storage chamber cover can be opened, and the brake pedal can be continuously pressed and released.
See if it can return oil. If the oil cannot be returned, it is because the oil return hole is blocked. If the oil return is slow, it is because the leather bowl and leather ring are swollen and the return spring is weak. The brake master cylinder should be removed, inspected, and repaired. If the brake pedal cannot return quickly, it indicates that the pedal return spring is too soft and broken, and should be replaced. If the fault lies in the wheel brake, the hot main wheel can be lifted up with a jack, and the wheel cylinder release screw can be loosened first. At this time, the brake fluid is rapidly sprayed out, and the wheel immediately rotates freely, indicating that the brake pipeline of the wheel is blocked.
The wheel cylinder cannot return oil, so the oil passage should be unblocked. If you still feel dragging when turning the wheels, you can check whether the gap between the friction plate and the brake drum is too small. If all the above situations are normal, the brake drum should be removed and the cylinder piston cup should be carefully inspected for any induced stagnation or expansion, whether the return spring is ineffective, whether the brake shoe support forging is free of oil induced jamming shoes, and then necessary repairs should be carried out according to the situation. The above three are the judgment methods for hydraulic brakes when they do not return to their original position, and the faults are eliminated through sequential judgment.
