1、 Description

Model 3905C and 3916C are programmable multi-channel filter systems that can be configured with multiple types of filter cardsPlug in filter card host chassisElliptical filters for anti aliasing, Butterworth filters for clean filtering in the frequency domain, and Bessel filters for providing excellent pulse or complex filtering. The filter card offers optional cutoff frequencies as low as 0.01Hz and as high as 25.6MHz, with roll off rates ranging from 24dB to 115dB/octave, enabling each system to correspond to any specific application individually. The design of the system concept considers user needs, is easy to operate, flexible, and has high performance.

2、 System configuration

There are two hosts, Model 3905C and 3916C. The 3905C can accommodate up to 5 plug-in filter cards, with only 3 "rack space. The input and output of the front and rear panels are standard BNC connectors, making it easy to install on a workbench or rack. 3916B can accommodate up to 16 filter cards for larger system users, and can be used together with Model 34A filter cards to provide up to 32 channels for users in one host. Changing or adding cards in any host can be achieved without modifying the system.

There is a GPIB interface on the host for remote programming, power supply, microprocessor, front panel keyboard, display screen, and indicator lights. Large independent keyboard, display screen, and indicator lights. Provide a large independent display screen for input and output gain, cutoff frequency, channel selection, and overload detection. These independent display screens simultaneously present all highly relevant information, greatly facilitating the operator.

3、 Additional features

Overload detector helps users detect excessive input signals or incorrect gain settings of some filtering cards. There are three optional modes: non locked, monitoring all channels and first displaying channels with overload; Lock and maintain overload display until overload is cleared; No instructions.

The system also provides an "amplifier only" or "bypass" mode for applications that do not require filtering of the input signal. In amplifier only mode, both input and output gains are available, and a bypass filtering circuit can be used to amplify very low signals if needed. In bypass mode, the input is connected to the output, bypassing the amplifier and filtering circuit.
