Continuous precipitation and rainstorm are one of the important factors for the formation of debris flow and other natural disasters. It is one of the important engineering measures to effectively monitor rainstorm and continuous precipitation and carry out forecast and prediction work to prevent debris flow disasters.
Rainfall measurement device suitable for meteorological stations(Stations), hydrological stations, agriculture and forestry, national defense and other relevant departments are used to remotely measure liquid precipitation, precipitation intensity, and precipitation start and end times. Used for flood control, water supply scheduling, hydropower station and reservoir water management purposes, hydrological automatic monitoring and reporting system, automatic field monitoring and reporting station, etc.
There are currently three common types of rainfall sensors used in China: weighing type, tipping bucket type, and siphon type. These three types of sensors all have disadvantages such as large volume, inability to measure snow, freezing rain, hail, and the water inlet is easily blocked by leaves and sediment, making it impossible to measure rainfall. IISystem structure and working principle
The working principle of a rainfall sensor is to utilize the piezoelectric effect of a piezoelectric oscillator to measure mechanical displacementThe vibration is converted into an electrical signal, and then the voltage waveform is transformed based on the energy of the raindrop impact. According to the change in voltage waveform, the size of the rainfall can be obtained, thus achieving the calculation of the weight of a single raindrop and subsequently calculating the rainfall amount. Raindrops are subject to the weight of raindrops and air resistance during their descent. When they reach the ground, their velocity remains constant. By measuring the impact with P=mv, the weight of raindrops can be determined, and the sustained rainfall can be obtained.
