Petroleum product residual carbon tester (Conics method)

Mainly used to determine the residual carbon content left behind after evaporation and pyrolysis of petroleum products, in order to provide an indicator of the relative coking tendency of petroleum products. This method is suitable for petroleum products that are easily partially decomposed and relatively non-volatile during atmospheric distillation. The working principle of the Kang's method is to place a fixed weight sample into a crucible and heat it up, so that the temperature of the sample in the inner crucible reaches about 600 ℃. Under the condition that air cannot enter, the different heating levels of the preheating period, combustion period, and strong heating period are controlled, so that the sample evaporates, decomposes, and burns to form residual carbon.

This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the People's Republic of China standard GB/T 268 "Determination of Residual Carbon in Petroleum Products (Kjeldahl Method)", and is suitable for measuring the amount of residual carbon left after evaporation and pyrolysis of petroleum products to provide an indicator of the relative coking tendency of petroleum products.
