1600A:Permeable muscle cell testing system
Adapting microscope

The 1600A permeabilized muscle cell testing system aims to simplify the complex testing of the contraction characteristics of skin covered muscle cells. The larger cell installation area provides ample space for its connection, and the electric platform simplifies the connection between cells and high-speed servo motors and precision force sensors.
The temperature controlled 8-well bath plate allows muscle cells to seamlessly transition between different calcium concentrations. Directly installed on the inverted microscope stage, it can be used for observation and detection of sarcomere spacing.

Product Features
Prism markings are optional to provide accurate measurements of cell cross-sections.With 1600A, force, length, and sarcomere spacing (with optional HVSL/VSL) can be easily and repeatedly controlled and measured. This enables the measurement of simple force pCa to more complex cellular mechanical properties, including kTr, length tension, force velocity, and stiffness.
●A complete testing system for permeable muscle cells●Temperature controlled 8-hole bath plate (sizes ranging from 400 to 1900 µ L)
●Electric XYZ micro positioning table●Easy assembly and operation, able to expand according to changes in measurement requirements
●Optional optical prism for measuring cell depth

Application Examples
According to the sample:
■Skeletal muscles:
Living body - extensor digitorum longus (EDL), soleus muscle, plantar muscle, diaphragm, vermicularis muscle
In situ - tibialis anterior (TA), gastrocnemius, quadriceps femoris, hamstring, tongue, rotator cuff
Off body dorsiflexion (TA, EDL), plantar flexor muscles (stomach, flounder, sole), mandible, index finger (flexor digitorum brevis FDB)
■Artificial muscles and connective tissues: cartilage, epithelial tissue, tendons.
According to the type of experiment:
▲ Twitch: A single pulse designed to induce single or small muscle fiber contractions.
▲Ankylosing contraction: rapid and continuous electrical pulses that causeMuscle contraction.
▲Fatigue: Frequently repeating the largest number of rigid contractions to cause muscle fatigue.
▲Force frequency: The rate at which the stimulation frequency is changed to evaluate the optimal frequency that causes the maximum tetanic force.
▲Irregularity: Actively stretching muscles during isometric rigid contractions to induce injury and evaluate resistance to injury or recovery from it.
▲Gait analysis/modeling exercise (isotonic, concentric): Control muscle strength output (isotonic) to evaluate muscle shortening speed.
▲Stiffness: Passive sine extension and muscle shortening are used to evaluate the intrinsic stiffness of tissues.
▲Stress strain: Incremental elongation of the tissue is used to calculate the Young's modulus of the material.

Aurora Scientific
For over thirty years, Aurora Scientific has been an ideal choice for scientific researchers around the world. Dual mode lever systems and force sensors are widely used in life science research disciplines, including sports and metabolism, cardiology, injury recovery, gerontology, disease progression, pharmacology, and more. Rapid response sensor products are considered as benchmark instruments for studying odor dynamics and olfactory studies of pheromone/plume dispersion; Mechanical stimulator technology is used to study the response of neurons to touch, pain, and stretching. The various types of testing systems produced by the company are used by materials science researchers to study the properties of artificial muscles, sports, and nanomaterials.
