Features:

The PPH plastic basket filter is a filtration system made of PPH (homopolymer polypropylene) material. With the excellent chemical resistance of PPH material, the plastic filter can meet the filtration applications of many chemical acid and alkali liquids. The basket filter is mainly composed of a connecting pipe, a cylinder, a filter basket, flanges, flange covers, and fasteners. When the liquid enters the basket filter basket through the cylinder, solid impurity particles are blocked inside the basket, while clean fluid passes through the basket and is discharged from the filter outlet. When cleaning is needed, unscrew the bottom plug of the main pipe, drain the fluid, remove the flange cover, clean it, and reinstall it. The operation, use, and maintenance are extremely convenient.

Working Principle:

The PPH plastic basket filter, with its corrosion resistance and basket structure design made of PPH material, has become a key equipment to ensure the stable operation of pipeline systems. When the equipment is working, the fluid to be filtered flows into the filter chamber from the inlet, and is blocked by the internal filter basket. The fluid passes through the filter mesh, and particles and debris larger than the pore size are intercepted in the filter basket. The clean fluid flows out from the outlet, achieving solid-liquid separation. Its core advantage lies in the application of PPH material. When impurities are trapped in the filter basket causing an increase in pressure difference, the operator only needs to close the inlet and outlet valves, open the top end cover, and quickly remove the filter basket for cleaning. The maintenance process is simple and efficient.

Installation and maintenance:

1. PPH blue filters are generally installed horizontally, and the inlet and outlet directions should be consistent with the arrow direction on the valve body.

2. After the blue filter works for a period of time, a certain amount of impurities settle in the filter element. At this time, the pressure drop increases and the flow rate decreases. It is necessary to remove the impurities in the filter element in a timely manner.

3. When cleaning impurities, special attention should be paid to ensure that the wire mesh on the filter element is not deformed or damaged. Otherwise, if the filter is installed again, the purity of the filtered medium will not meet the design requirements, and equipment such as compressors, pumps, and instruments will be damaged. If the plastic wire mesh is found to be deformed or damaged, it needs to be replaced immediately.
