PIE 535 supports two independent milliampere circuit operating modes:

  • 4-20 mA loop functionCan source/read 0.000-24000 mA, simulate a two-wire transmitter, supply power to the two-wire transmitter and measure current, display in mA or 4-20 mA with a percentage of -25.00% -125.00%.

  • 10-50 mA loop functionCan source/read 0.000-50.00 mA, simulate a two-wire transmitter, supply power to the two-wire transmitter and measure current, display in mA or 10-50 mA with a percentage of -25.00% -105.00%.

  • Loop driving capabilityFeedback voltage ≥ 43 V; capable of driving 1200 Ω load in 4-20 mA range and 800 Ω load in 10-50 mA range, and maintaining this capability throughout the battery life cycle.

Analog output options (optional model 535A)

The optional model 535A has a banana jack on the bottom panel of the device, providing a proportional analog output of 10 mV/mA with an accuracy of ± (0.1%+0.04 mV) and a temperature coefficient of 5 ppm/° C. It can be used to connect chart recorders or data recorders.
