1、 Purpose:

Oxygen and nitrogen instrument in titanium alloyIt is an intelligent analytical and metrological instrument composed of a pulse furnace and a computer, with pyroelectric sensors and thermal conductivity detectors as the core. The software has the function of Chinese menu operation and real-time display of combustion release curve. The instrument is mainly used for analyzing the oxygen and nitrogen content in ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, rare earth metals, inorganic substances, ores, ceramics and other materials in industries such as metallurgy, machinery, commodity inspection, scientific research, and chemical engineering.

2、 Composition

5、 Gas path

1Gas purification device:The quartz tube inside the gas purification device is equipped with copper foil, which absorbs trace amounts of oxygen in the carrier gas at high temperatures and has a certain purification effect on the carrier gas. The gas purification device needs to work in the gas pathHeating up is only allowed after 10 minutes, otherwise the copper foil will be oxidized by air and lose its purification ability. If the purity of the carrier gas meets the requirements, the gas purification device may not be turned on.

2Automatic feeding mechanism:Composed of a slider, sealing cylinder, hopper, and corresponding driving cylinder, it completes the automatic sampling function under carrier gas protection and is suitable for detecting oxygen and nitrogen content.Press the slider button, and when the slider reaches the back end, the sample to be tested can be placed into the sample inlet. At this time, the added sample will slide into the hopper below the slider. Then press the slider button again, and the slider will move to the front end. At this time, the observation window is facing the hopper below the slider. When analyzing, press the drop button, and when the hopper is opened, the melting state of the sample in the graphite crucible can be observed through the observation window.

3Filter bottle:Contains quartz wool for filtering and analyzing graphite dust in the carrier gas

4Converter:The quartz tube inside the converter contains rod-shaped copper oxide and is heated toAt temperatures above 450 degrees, CO is oxidized to CO2 when the carrier gas passes through the conversion furnace through the filter bottle. The concentration of CO2 is detected by an infrared detection cell, and the oxygen content in the tested sample is calculated back. When the rod-shaped copper oxide in the furnace fails (with a large area of red copper reduced), it needs to be replaced in a timely manner.

5Absorption bottle:Absorption bottles are packed in sequenceCO2 absorbent and high-efficiency dehydrating agent. After the oxygen content of the carrier gas is detected by an infrared detection cell, it passes through an absorption bottle to absorb CO2, and then enters a thermal conductivity detector to detect nitrogen.
