Outdoor three proof power distribution box designed specifically for harsh environments - waterproof, dustproof, and corrosion-resistant, solving the pain points of ordinary distribution boxes that are prone to rusting, water ingress, and rapid aging under humid, acidic, salt spray, or dusty conditions. The whole machine adopts a sealed structure, with multiple sets of waterproof sealing strips on the door body. The inlet and outlet lines use professional waterproof cable joints to ensure the safe operation of internal components in continuous rain, flushing, or strong sand and dust weather. Product Details

This product is a three proof power distribution box with waterproof, dustproof, and anti-corrosion capabilities in terms of performance. The protection level reaches IP65, which means it can prevent dust intrusion and resist low-pressure water spray from any direction, suitable for outdoor use in rainy, snowy, and humid environments. The anti-corrosion level is WF2, which can withstand the erosion of acid and alkali mist, salt mist, and most chemical solvents. It is not easy to age and deform after long-term use. The internal electrical structure has been optimized and designed to support mixed configuration of power and lighting circuits. It can be equipped with components such as molded case circuit breakers, residual current devices, surge protectors, and smart meters to meet the distribution, control, and maintenance needs of high-power equipment. The box adopts a fully sealed structure, with high elasticity polyurethane sealing strips installed between the door panel and the box. Professional waterproof cable joints are equipped at the inlet and outlet to ensure the safe and stable operation of internal components under various harsh working conditions. In addition, the product has impact resistance, UV resistance, and flame retardant properties, and can adapt to a wide temperature range from minus 25 degrees Celsius to over 60 degrees Celsius.


In terms of materials, the shell offers two mainstream material options. One is high-strength flame-retardant engineering plastic, specifically polycarbonate PC or ABS material, which has the characteristics of light weight, good insulation, corrosion resistance and anti-aging, and its surface is treated with UV resistance, suitable for chemical plants, food processing workshops and other corrosive environments. The second type is made of 304 or 316L stainless steel material, which is formed by molding or welding, and the surface is treated with wire drawing or spray coating. It has higher mechanical strength, excellent impact resistance and wear resistance, and is particularly suitable for places such as mines, ports, and coastal facilities that require sturdy shells. The internal installation plate is made of hot-dip galvanized steel plate or aluminum zinc coated plate, which has good conductivity and is not easy to rust. All fasteners are made of stainless steel to prevent rusting and jamming.


The product parameter table is as follows: the rated working voltage is AC 220V or 380V, and can also be customized with DC 12V, 24V, etc. The rated insulation voltage is 660 volts. The rated current of the main circuit ranges from 63 A to 630 A, while the current of the branch circuit is usually 10 A to 250 A. Protection level IP65 or IP66, anti-corrosion level WF1 or WF2. The shell material can be selected from engineering plastic or stainless steel. The external dimensions are customized according to the number of circuits. Common specifications include 300mm x 400mm x 180mm, 400mm x 500mm x 200mm, 600mm x 800mm x 250mm, etc. The inlet and outlet diameters can be selected from G1/2 inches to G4 inches. Installation methods include wall mounted, pole mounted, or floor standing support. The product complies with the relevant requirements of national standards GB/T 14048 and GB/T 3836 (non explosion proof types refer to general standards).


In terms of model description, the main model of this series is FXMD type, where FXM represents waterproof, dustproof, and anti-corrosion distribution box, and D represents power type. The suffix letter S represents engineering plastic material, T represents stainless steel material, and the number represents the number of circuits or branches. For example, FXMD S 4K represents an engineering plastic material and a four circuit three proof power distribution box. FXMD T 8K represents a stainless steel material, eight circuit three proof power distribution box. Customers can also customize non-standard models based on the drawings or our selection table.


The main applications are very extensive. Suitable for environments with corrosive gases or liquids such as petrochemicals, fine chemicals, dye chemicals, etc; Suitable for high humidity salt spray areas such as ports and docks, shipbuilding, and seawater desalination; Suitable for clean places that require frequent washing, such as food and beverage processing, beer brewing, pharmaceutical workshops, etc; Suitable for outdoor facilities such as open-pit mines, concrete mixing plants, highway tunnels, municipal streetlights, and pump stations; Suitable for agricultural production environments such as farms, vegetable greenhouses, and cold storage facilities; It is also suitable for outdoor advertising in commercial squares, temporary construction site electricity, subway station ventilation shafts, underground garages, and other occasions. This distribution box can be used as both a main power distribution box and an equipment maintenance power box or a machine side control box.


In terms of packaging, each three proof power distribution box undergoes strict testing before leaving the factory and is wrapped with bubble wrap or pearl cotton to prevent scratches during transportation. All exposed interfaces are equipped with sealing plugs. The distribution box made of stainless steel is fixed with wooden tray or plywood wooden box, and the engineering plastic material is buffered with thickened corrugated box and foam board. The packaging comes with a product certificate, packing list, electrical schematic diagram, and installation accessory bag (including expansion bolts, sealing gaskets, spare buckles, etc.). The entire packaging meets the requirements of long-distance transportation and multiple handling, and can provide fumigation free wooden boxes according to export needs.


The instructions for use are concise and to the point. The first step is to check the appearance and internal components of the box for looseness or moisture after opening it. Step two, connect the incoming and outgoing cables according to the electrical schematic diagram posted on the inside of the box door. Please note that the incoming cable must pass through a waterproof cable joint and tighten the sealing nut to ensure that the sealing ring wraps around the cable sheath. Step three, fix the box to the wall or column through the installation holes, and use stainless steel screws for fixing. Step four, before closing the main switch, use a multimeter to confirm that the insulation resistance of each circuit is normal, and verify that the rated load current matches the branch circuit breaker. Step five, close the box door and fasten the stainless steel buckle to ensure that the sealing strip is not offset. Regularly check whether the sealing strip is aging and whether the cable joints are loose during daily use. If maintenance is required, it is necessary to first cut off the higher-level power supply and wipe the internal dust with a clean and dry cloth. It is strictly prohibited to directly rinse the inside of the box with water.


In terms of after-sales service, this product provides a 12-month quality guarantee from the date of manufacture. During the warranty period, we are responsible for free repair or replacement of any malfunctions caused by the product's design, materials, or manufacturing processes. For abnormal use, human damage, or unauthorized modifications, we provide paid repair services at a cost only. The after-sales response time is to provide a solution within two hours after receiving the repair report, and arrange for technical personnel to come on-site or provide online guidance within 48 hours.
