Overview

This product adopts high-strength cast aluminum or high-quality carbon steel/stainless steel shell, and is designed with explosion-proof structure. The explosion-proof level can reach Exd IIB T6 (optional Exd IIC T4), and the protection level is IP65. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Built in modular electrical components, can be configured with circuit breakers, contactors, thermal relays, wiring terminals, etc. as needed. Vertical installation, bottom inlet and outlet lines, operation interface equipped with explosion-proof indicator lights, buttons or observation windows. Widely used in Class II explosive gas environments (Zone 1, Zone 2) and combustible dust environments such as petrochemicals, gas stations, pharmaceutical warehouses, mining areas, and dust workshops.

Product performance

The vertical explosion-proof distribution box has good explosion-proof and protective performance. Its explosion-proof rating can reach up to Ex db eb IIB T6 Gb or Ex db IIC T4 Gb, and it is also suitable for combustible dust environments Ex tD A21 IP65 T80 ℃. The protection level can reach IP65, dustproof and able to resist strong water spray, and can be directly installed in outdoor unobstructed environments. The box adopts a composite structure of explosion-proof and increased safety types. The explosion-proof joint surface is precision machined and matched with high-performance sealing strips to ensure that internal arcs or sparks will not ignite external explosive gases. In terms of electrical performance, the rated voltage of the main circuit is AC380V or 220V, and the rated current can be flexibly configured from tens of amperes to hundreds of amperes according to user needs. Built in components can be installed as needed, including circuit breakers, contactors, thermal relays, frequency converters, soft starters, instruments, signal lights, buttons, etc., to achieve various functions such as power distribution, lighting distribution, motor control, variable frequency speed regulation, parameter display, etc. The internal layout of the box is reasonable, with good heat dissipation performance and support for long-term continuous operation. All products undergo pressure resistance testing, sealing testing, and functional testing before leaving the factory, ensuring safety and reliability.


material usage

The shell material is made of high-strength Q235 carbon steel or 304 316 stainless steel, or cast aluminum alloy can be selected. The surface of the carbon steel shell is treated with high-voltage electrostatic spraying, which has strong coating adhesion, corrosion resistance, and aging resistance, making it suitable for general chemical plant areas. The stainless steel shell has excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for offshore platforms, coastal salt spray environments, and acid alkali gas heavy workshops. The cast aluminum alloy shell is lightweight and has good heat dissipation, making it suitable for places with weight requirements. All exposed fasteners are made of stainless steel to prevent rusting. The internal installation plate is made of galvanized steel plate or insulation board, and different thicknesses of plates can be configured as needed to support heavy-duty components. Explosion proof transparent windows are made of tempered glass or polycarbonate materials, which are impact resistant and high-temperature resistant. The inlet and outlet are equipped with brass nickel plated or stainless steel explosion-proof cable sealing joints to ensure reliable sealing at the cable entry point.

This product is widely used in places such as oil extraction, refining, chemical industry, gas stations, refueling stations, pharmaceutical production, biological fermentation, paint and coating, grain processing, metal polishing, wood processing, textile printing and dyeing, military industry, aerospace, ports, offshore platforms, sewage treatment, gas stations, laboratories, etc. where there are explosive gas environments in Zone 1 and Zone 2 or combustible dust environments in Zone 21 and Zone 22. Specifically, it can be used for on-site power distribution, lighting distribution, motor local control, fan and water pump start stop, frequency conversion speed control, instrument protection box, junction box, power maintenance box, etc. The vertical structure is suitable for ground installation, especially in areas with concentrated equipment or where multiple people are required to operate. The height of the box conforms to ergonomics and the operating interface is comfortable.


packaging

The products are packed in wooden cases or solid corrugated cartons, lined with shockproof foam or pearl cotton to prevent bumping during transportation. All exposed explosion-proof surfaces shall be coated with anti rust oil and covered with protective film. Cable joints and spare parts should be individually packaged in plastic bags and accompanied by a packing list. The outer layer of the box is wrapped with stretch film to prevent moisture. The product certificate, explosion-proof certificate, user manual, electrical schematic and wiring diagram, and factory inspection report are attached with the box. The large-sized cabinet is reinforced with fumigation free wooden pallets, suitable for sea or long-distance transportation. The packaging box is labeled with rainproof, pressure resistant, fragile, and upward signs, and indicates the product model, quantity, and shipping information.


Instructions for Use

After receiving the product, the first thing to check is whether the packaging is intact. After opening the box, check whether the accessories and documents inside the box are complete. Please read the user manual and electrical schematic carefully before installation. Confirm that the on-site voltage and frequency are consistent with the rated value of the product. The vertical explosion-proof distribution box should be installed on a flat and sturdy foundation, and the base should be fixed with anchor bolts. The installation location should avoid severe vibration and high temperature heat sources, and maintain good ventilation around. Suitable explosion-proof cable sealing joints should be selected for cable introduction, and the protective sleeve should be intact. After stripping the insulation of the core wire, it should be connected correctly according to the wiring diagram, and all wiring terminals should be tightened. The grounding terminal inside the box should be reliably connected to the on-site grounding grid. After installation, close all covers and tighten the cover bolts evenly to ensure that the explosion-proof surface is tightly fitted and the sealing strip is not damaged. Before power transmission, all components should be checked for their initial position (such as circuit breakers being disconnected), and a multimeter should be used to confirm that there is no short circuit in the input and output. After powering on, observe whether the indicator lights and instruments are normal. If it is necessary to open the cover for maintenance during use, the power supply of the front stage must be cut off first, and it is strictly prohibited to open the cover with power on. The appearance and fasteners of the box should be checked for looseness once a month, and the dust inside the box should be cleaned every six months and the aging condition of the sealing strip should be checked.

During the warranty period, if the product cannot be used normally due to manufacturing quality issues, we will provide free repair or replacement.
