1、 Definition

Outdoor thick steel structure fireproof coating is a non expanding fireproof coating mainly composed of inorganic insulation materials, with a coating thickness of usually 7-45mm. It delays the temperature rise of steel structures through its low thermal conductivity, achieving fire protection, and is specifically designed for outdoor steel structure components.

II. Classification

Belonging to non expanding steel structure fireproof coating, it can be divided into four levels according to fire resistance limit: 1.5h, 2.0h, 2.5h, and 3.0h, suitable for outdoor steel components with different fire resistance design requirements.

3、 Core Features

1. Fire resistance: Excellent thermal insulation and flame retardant effect, with a fire resistance limit of up to 3.0 hours. It does not burn or expand at high temperatures and can form a dense thermal insulation protective layer.

2. Weather resistance: It has good water resistance, freeze-thaw resistance, and UV aging resistance, and can withstand harsh environments such as outdoor sun and rain, sudden temperature changes, etc. It is not easy to powder, crack, or peel off.

3. Physical properties: High coating density, strong adhesion, high mechanical strength, able to withstand slight collisions and external impacts; Does not contain organic resin, has good environmental friendliness, and does not release toxic gases at high temperatures.

4. Construction performance: Spraying and coating processes can be used for construction. After drying and curing, there is no need to apply additional anti-corrosion topcoat (some products require anti rust primer).

Suitable for outdoor steel structures, such as industrial factory steel columns and beams, bridge steel structures, large venue outdoor steel components, petrochemical tank supports, power tower frames, etc., especially suitable for outdoor scenes with high fire resistance requirements and complex environmental conditions.
