working principle
CTi LT measures the surface temperature of the object being measured using infrared radiation in the 8-14 μ m wavelength range. The probe collects the signal and transmits it to an electronic box for amplification and digital processing; Users can set emissivity/transmittance (0.05-1.10) and hold/average algorithms, and output them to the upper system as analog or bus signals to achieve continuous, non-contact online temperature measurement.

Selection Recommendation
Select optical/range according to the temperature measurement area: It is generally recommended to use LT02 (≤ 650 ° C)/LT15 (≤ 800 ° C)/LT22 (≤ 1050 ° C).
Select SF/CF optics based on installation distance and target size; When dealing with small targets at close range, use CF (including a close-up mirror) to obtain smaller light spots.
If the ambient temperature is high and the space is limited, use a split structure measuring head and confirm whether additional protection is needed on site; If the environment is hotter, consider LThot derivatives.
Interface and system integration: For scenarios requiring PLC/industrial Ethernet, select Profinet/EtherNet IP/Modbus versions.
Installation and precautions
Align the target based on the distance to spot ratio to ensure that the spot falls within the measured surface.
Set emissivity/transmittance and calibrate when measuring semi transparent materials or with windows.
Avoid strong reflection and direct smoke on the measuring head, and if necessary, provide shading/blowing.
Confirm the environmental temperature and protection level (IP65), select appropriate cable length and stress fixation for wiring.
Before powering on, check the polarity of the analog/digital output and power supply to prevent misconnection.

Regularly clean the probe window and keep the optical path clean; Do not wipe with hard objects.
Inspect cables and connectors for looseness/wear, and maintain good sealing (IP65).
When there is a process change, review the emissivity/signal processing parameters and recalibrate them.
