1、 Experimental principle
When light shines on an object, only part of the energy of the light is absorbed by the object in the form of heat, while the other part is converted into the energy of certain electrons in the object, causing these electrons to escape the surface of the object. This phenomenon is called the photoelectric effect. In the phenomenon of photoelectric effect, light exhibits its particle nature, so in-depth observation of the photoelectric effect phenomenon is of great significance for understanding the nature of light.
