Whether evaluating activated sludge and the entire biological treatment process, analyzing wastewater discharged after purification treatment, or detecting changes in sludge concentration at different stages, online suspended solids analyzers can provide continuous and accurate measurement results.

The online suspended solids analyzer consists of a transmitter and a sensor. The sensor can be easily installed in the pool, drainage pipe, pressure pipeline or natural water body, and can automatically compensate for the interference caused by pollution. It adopts innovative multi beam mutual compensation technology, which can eliminate measurement errors caused by sensor light window fouling, significantly improve measurement accuracy, reduce maintenance workload, and improve work reliability. The bidirectional digital communication between the transmitter and the sensor can prevent signal attenuation and allow the sensor to be far away from the transmitter, making it particularly suitable for harsh working conditions in the field of sewage treatment. In addition, the sensor has an air blowing and cleaning function, which can achieve automatic scheduled cleaning of the instrument through external compressed air. It can automatically clean according to the pre-set time, greatly reducing the workload of instrument maintenance.

The detection principle of online suspended solids analyzer is based on the attenuation of infrared light transmission and scattering in suspended solids, which is related to the concentration of suspended solids in the liquid. The infrared light emitted by the transmitter on the sensor, after being absorbed, reflected, and scattered by the measured object during transmission, only a small portion of the light can reach the detector. The transmittance of the transmitted light is related to the concentration of the measured wastewater, so the concentration of the wastewater can be calculated by measuring the transmittance of the transmitted light.

The functional characteristics of suspended solids analyzer include:

1. Air self-cleaning function, basically maintenance free; (Users can choose an air blowing device with a pressure of 0.7-3.4 Bar, connected to the sensor interface through a 1/4 "polypropylene tube)

5. Automatic conversion of measurement methods to adapt to a large range;

2. Digital sensors with integrated signal processing greatly improve the reliability and stability of measurements;

3. Multi beam mutual compensation technology to eliminate measurement errors caused by light window contamination;

4. Optical bandpass filtering and modulation of excitation light effectively avoid the influence of ambient light on measurement.

The entire measurement system mainly consists of two parts: instruments (secondary instruments) and sensors (primary instruments). The sensors are in contact with the measured aqueous solution, and the instruments display the concentration, temperature, and working status of the aqueous solution. The secondary instrument has functions such as data storage, historical recording, alarm recording, etc.
