Suma jar sampling is a passive sampling method used to collect and store environmental air samples for laboratory trace level volatile organic compound analysis. The core tool is a metal vacuum can with special inner wall passivation treatment and high chemical inertness, known as the "Suma can".
Sampling performance characteristics of Nutech Suma cans
1. The inner wall adopts innovative ultra-high inert surface treatment technology (chemical vapor coating) and ultrasonic process, and the tank body has no adsorption of VOCs, ensuring sample stability and recovery rate; Ppb level sulfur and nitrogen compounds, as well as polar (aldehydes, alcohols, esters, ketones, ethers, etc.) and non-polar compounds, can also be easily and non destructively collected and stored for a longer period of time.
2. Compatible with all samplers, sampling tank cleaning systems, gas distribution systems, and pre concentration treatment systems on the market. The sampling tank and valves are made of stainless steel, which is sturdy and durable, and can adapt to harsh outdoor environments.
3. Good airtightness: Pressurize with nitrogen to 30psi, measure and record the initial pressure, then close the sampling tank valve, open the valve 24 hours later, test and record its pressure. The pressure inside the tank should not decrease by more than 1psi after being left for 24 hours, and a vacuum degree of 50mtorr can be achieved by vacuum pumping.
4. Equipped with diaphragm valve, lined with isolation diaphragm, no packing, maximum pressure resistance of 250PSI; Temperature: 200 ℃, dead volume:<5 µ l, internal volume: 150ul; ultra long and durable design, preventing damage to the sliding wire due to excessive force and affecting air tightness, with effective sealing opening and closing times ≥ 15000 times.
5. Optional pressure gauge head.
