Mycoplasma, also known as a mold body, has a diameter of 0.1-0.3 μ m and is currently the smallest and simplest discoveredProkaryotes can easily be mixed into the culture system through a filter membrane and exhibit high polymorphism, including spherical, rod-shaped, filamentous, branched, and other forms. Usually attached to the surface of the cell membrane, mycoplasma does not have a rigid cell wall, so ordinary antibiotics have no effect on it at all.
Mycoplasma contamination has become a serious problem in cell culture; In cell culture, mycoplasma contamination is widespread and often underestimated (the average proportion of mycoplasma contamination in cell lines worldwide is 30-60%, with some countries even reaching 80-90%), leading to various problems, including changes in cell growth rate; Inducing changes in cell morphology; Chromosomal aberration; Changes in antigenicity of cell membrane; Changes in cellular metabolism; The survival rate decreases after cell recovery. Mycoplasma contamination can alter almost all parameters of cells, leading to inaccurate or even erroneous experimental results. Therefore, the conventional "mycoplasma" clearance medium is a necessary preparation for every cell culture laboratoryof

The main sources of mycoplasma contamination in cell culture are:
1. Cross contamination between cells;
2. Oral cavity, skin, etc. of cell culture operators;
3. Pollution from work environment or experimental equipment;
4. Poor aseptic operation by the experimenter;
5. Components used for cell culture, such as serum, culture medium, etc;
⒍ Pollution of the original tissue or organ used for preparing cells
Mycoplasma clearance culture mediumIt is a new generation product developed by our company based on the Biomocin product, containing a special ingredient for clearing "mycoplasma" (a mixed preparation that can achieve good mycoplasma clearance effect by inhibiting the synthesis of relevant proteins necessary for DNA and mycoplasma growth, to the greatest extent possible)Save precious cells and reduce losses caused by mycoplasma contamination.
This product has been tested on dozens of cells and verified through long-term experiments, and is harmless to cells. It has a significant effect on removing "mycoplasma" contaminationIt can effectively inhibit and kill Mycoplasma.

Based on the characteristics of the cultured cellsMycoplasma clearance culture mediumPrepare the corresponding * culture medium;
2. Spread 500000 to 1 million cells into a 60 mm cell culture dish, add 4 mL of "Mycoplasma" clearance * culture medium, and incubate the cells at 37 ℃ (or use the same method as normal cell culture, directly add an appropriate amount of "Mycoplasma" clearance * culture to the culture vessel to incubate the cells);
3. The next day, replace the fresh "Mycoplasma" clearing culture medium, and then replace the fresh culture medium every 2-3 days. When changing the medium, wash the cells 1-2 times with sterile balanced salt solution; If the cell density is too high during the process, please maintain an appropriate cell density (adherent cells may need to be digested with trypsin) and replace the culture vessel with a new one;
After using "Mycoplasma" to clear the culture medium for 3 days, a significant clearance effect can be observed; After 15 days of processing, a mycoplasma detection kit can be used to test whether mycoplasma has been killed; If there are still mycoplasma residues, it can be considered to treat for another 6 days;
Due to the possible existence of pollution sources in the environment, in order to prevent cells from being contaminated by "mycoplasma" again, routine testing for mycoplasma should be conducted every month in the future to ensure that there is no new mycoplasma contamination.
After receiving the product, first check whether the packaging is intact, whether the culture medium bottle is damaged, and whether the culture medium has leakage, turbidity, and other phenomena; If the above phenomenon occurs, please contact us promptly;
2. After checking and confirming that the product has no problems, if not used immediately, please store the product in a temperature range of 2-8 ℃ and avoid light;
This product has undergone 0.22 μ m filtration for sterilization. When using this product, attention should be paid to aseptic operation to avoid contamination;
This product is for research or further production use only and is not intended for diagnosis or treatment.
