HCA-306Multi functional distillerThe ammonia nitrogen distiller, volatile phenol distiller, and green compound distillation device adopt the latest far-infrared heating method internationally, which has the advantages of high thermal efficiency, long service life, fast temperature rise and cooling speed, adjustable heating time and heating power. The instrument can be connected to an external circulating water cooling device, and a constant flow of positive pressure gas can be introduced during the distillation process, which can effectively improve the distillation speed and efficiency. The entire system is simple, easy to install and maintain, and reliable to use. It can be widely used in the pre-treatment process of sample analysis that requires distillation in industries such as environmental protection, chemical, pharmaceutical, and materials. Especially suitable for distillation treatment of samples before the determination of ammonia nitrogen, volatile phenols, cyanates, etc.

Taking Ammonia Nitrogen Distillation as an Example - Determination of Ammonia Nitrogen in Water Quality - Distillation Neutralization Titration Method (HJ 537-2009)
1. Turn on the "power" switch of the distiller. The instrument displays the default distillation time of "01:10" (1 hour and 10 minutes), which can be increased or decreased according to the actual situation. Turn on the "cooling" switch on the left side of the instrument to ensure smooth flow of cooling water in the condenser tube.
2. Transfer 50 ml of boric acid absorption solution into the receiving bottle, ensuring that the outlet silicone tube of the condenser is below the level of the boric acid solution.
3. Take 250 ml of water sample (if the ammonia nitrogen content is high, take a small amount and add distilled water to 250 ml) and transfer it into a 500 ml conical flask. Add 2 drops of bromothymol blue indicator, and if necessary, adjust the pH to 6.0 (yellow indicator) -7.4 (blue indicator) with * solution or sulfuric acid solution. Add 0.25 g of light magnesium oxide and anti foaming agent if necessary. Immediately connect the condenser tube and ventilation plastic tube, and turn on the "bubbling" switch of the distiller. Ensure smooth airflow in the distillation flask. Press the "Start" button, and the instrument will start heating and distillation. The second flashing light (:) will flash, and the real-time temperature will be displayed at the same time. When the set time is reached, the instrument automatically stops heating. But the cooling fan of the electric furnace continues to work, removing residual heat.
4. After removing the receiving bottle and diluting it to 250mL, it can be directly used for subsequent titration.
5. After the solution in the distillation flask has cooled to room temperature, the "cooling" and "inflation" switches of the instrument can be turned off.
When conducting other sample analyses, the timing and heating power should be determined by the user based on experimental requirements and their own exploration.
