QSenseMineral flotation moduleIntended to analyze the adsorption and interaction of molecules in liquid phase on chip surface in real-time with nanogram level accuracy. By inverting the module (i.e. the effective sensor area of the chip) in the sample pool, the impact of particle settling in the liquid can be effectively reduced. Due to its design, it has a wide range of applications in mineral flotation: research on mineral surface characteristics: it can be used to measure the adsorption characteristics, charge state, and redox properties of mineral surfaces, which helps to understand the interaction between minerals and flotation reagents. Flotation reagent screening: By fixing mineral particles on a quartz crystal microbalance and injecting different flotation reagents, the interaction and adsorption behavior between reagents and mineral surfaces can be monitored in real time, thereby evaluating the flotation effect of different reagents. Optimization of flotation process: By using a quartz crystal microbalance to monitor the interaction between minerals and reagents during the flotation process, flotation conditions can be optimized, such as adjusting reagent concentration, reagent addition sequence, and pH value, to improve mineral flotation selectivity and recovery rate. Mineral corrosion research: Quartz crystal microbalance can be used to evaluate the corrosiveness of minerals during flotation process. By monitoring the generation rate and quality changes of corrosion products, the corrosion resistance of minerals under different conditions can be studied, and corrosion inhibition measures can be optimized. Overall, the application of this design in mineral flotation mainly focuses on studying the surface characteristics of minerals, evaluating the effectiveness of flotation reagents, optimizing the flotation process, and studying the corrosiveness of minerals, which helps to improve the efficiency and selectivity of flotation processes.
